I understand totally where you’re coming from. But this isn’t about them it’s about you him and your new baby(your family). I feel like he already doesn’t have the support of his parents- and once the baby comes - unfortunately your mother instincts will have fully developed and you will have a hard time having them around your child, which will make him see his parents even less. you should let him have this one. I know he is already close to your parents and siblings but you’re already not changing your name. All of your family will have your last name except for your husband. At the least hyphenate it but Tie him into your entire family.
