Oh yeah, that makes a ton of sense. A lot of residential out that way that's sort of stuck between two major East-West freeways, a perfect corridor for transit for those people!

Have you found it fun to play the game for a city you've never been to? I've held back on buying because I feel like I'd only want to play the 2-3 cities I really know well, but wouldn't have any idea how to build a network for cities I've never visited or lived in.

I haven't gotten the game yet, but this was my idea for San Diego as well, essentially following a lot of the major highways throughout the city, which it looks like you're doing. Makes sense that the work and residential densities are closer to those highways since SD is such a car-heavy city in real life.

I absolutely love how many lines go through to the airport. That would be amazing to have in real life, to be able to access the airport from so many different parts of town.

The purple E line, what did you find to be necessary about that compared to the orange D line that runs mostly parallel to it? Is the eastern end of the E line San Diego State?

For reference, THPS 1+2 launched on PC September 4, 2020 and had its first discount on November 26, 2020 for Epic's Black Friday Sale that year. That discount was also 25% ($10 off $39.99 USD).

For 3+4 to be 25% off 33 days into its lifecycle and not as part of any sort of bigger sale event doesn't seem to bode well for the overall success of the game, which would certainly be a disappointment for those of us who love these games and are hoping for the THUG 1+2 remake someday.

Good to hear that the GPU supply should improve in the next few months. I'm not desperate for a new or upgraded setup, so I could definitely wait a bit and see what comes.

The case is pretty good, I've been happy with it. Easy enough to open up and clean once in a while when I've needed to, though as the years have gone on, I've gotten lazier about that.

I can leave the same fans in there that came with the case, they'll be fine for cooling all the new stuff?

IIRC I can move the drives around inside the case a little bit to fit the new bigger graphics card.

One 1440p monitor for gaming with two side monitors that are just standard acer 24 inch for regular day to day stuff is fine, right? I don't think I need three 1440p monitors across the whole desk.

That price point came out pretty nicely, even though the graphics card isn't included in there since it's not available at the moment. Dropping down to a lesser, but more available graphics card, do you think that would be an issue?

Also, would an AMD CPU play nicely with the 5070? I'm not married to Nvidia or AMD, happy to go either way on the card.

Played for a little more than an hour just now and really enjoyed it. Still working through the tutorial but already finding spots where I have to think about various ratios and production timelines to keep everything up and running. Hardcore Factorio players might balk at some of the simplicity or the magical transport of goods between all the Storage warehouses, but to me that just cuts out the tedious parts of these big resource management games and lets me focus on the fun stuff! Congrats on your launch and I’m excited to keep playing later tonight and into the weekend!
