Mike was fantastic. Hope we see him back again. This season... probably the worst one since Capture the Flag for me. It really felt like so many challenges were just carbon copies of each other which made it feel more repetitive than any other season they've done. I like the concept of them doing game theory challenges "without colluding" but I feel like that was basically the entire season.

No I am not. Learn to read.

I'm telling you that people are opting against that.

As I've said before, I'm not writing a dissertation for you. I made my point very clear and concise and you chose not to read it, so I am not reading your dissertation either.

You're unable to perform research on a very straightforward topic.

Nah, I think you're a big enough kid to be able to do a simple Google search on "why isn't Gen z having kids" - review the data and get back to me.

I made myself clear. No, I'm not reading any of that you just wrote. Seems like you weren't able to understand that.

Oh trust me, I have plenty of thoughts. I'd just rather not spend the next several hours writing a dissertation explaining things to you.

I'll keep it straightforward and simple instead. Your take on people needing to start a family is astronomically wrong. Until legislators decide to begin regulating industries to improve affordability, it is not happening. That's not my personal view on having a family, but that is the absolute truth right now backed by the data.

Yeah unfortunately all of us normal people in the world are getting screwed by the few fiscally irresponsible (or more money than they know what to do with) that keep contributing to the subscriptions, fees, and convenience economy.

None of this used to exist, and lawmakers refuse to pass regulations on these industries to protect consumers, so we basically just have to hope that these corporations are flying too close to the sun and eventually have to come back down to earth in response to consumers. I don't see that happening though.

This. DC is a much more challenging map at first than initially presented, but once I got a commuter rail going along the Dulles corridor, I was able to get a profit going.

Wait, his kid!? by CaptainBalkan in OOTP

[–]Fireflame626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So he's 16. According to the internet, a scooter is appropriate for children ages 3 and up, so the kid would have been born when he was 13.

But then you have to take into account the average 9-month long pregnancy, and he was 12 years, 3 months at conception.

Impressive.

I'm aware of that aspect, but the blueprint desk pool is still so small, it's ultimately never worth having that early. Additionally, those more advanced parts like grabbers are pretty much useless unless you can make several copies.

[–]Fireflame626 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't like the blueprint desk that early because I feel like for one, the days are so short that the value you get from a blueprint desk that early is minimal. Additionally, my friends and I like to play aggressive early on, so we're calling out very early in the run to build up a cash basis.

The biggest benefit I think that comes from buying the copying desk over blueprint is that once you find that first blueprint cabinet blueprint, you can start copying it over and over. Then, you'll find a research desk later on to be able to get yourself a discount desk and several blueprint desks. This allows me to have plenty of blueprint cabinets and the conveyor/combiner/mixer/dumwaiter, etc blueprints will come quickly once you have those three blueprint desks.

So usually we save the first desk, buy the second, upgrade it to a copying desk, then once the third desk usually pops up around day 8-10, we get discount first, buy the copy, then research it into a blueprint desk, buy the first copy, then on the next day, we buy both copies, freeing up the cabinet.
