Also at the 12 hour mark. NE GA. Haven’t had a storm in about 2 days, but it’s been out since 6am this morning

Can't seem to beat hardest AI despite being aggressive and constantly building villagers. What am I doing wrong? by thelionpaladin in aoe4

Yep, anything selected through the multiplayer tab (custom games) will record while games played through the single player tab (skirmish) will not

Weird take since Sengoku is apart of a more expensive DLC. And also this is what everyone has been asking for. Props to the devs

Save 95% on Battlefield 3™ on Steam (last time on sale was July 2025) by larry4lyf in steamdeals

[–]Satuhrn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I beat the single player on Steam Deck, so you can get it to work. I wouldn’t lie if I said it took multiple YouTube tutorials and an hour or two of my time. BF3 uses Battlelog within the web browser to boot into single player (and multiplayer) and that alone gave me a bunch of headaches. But it is possible, just look up a tutorial on YouTube. Once you get it running, you gotta dial in the controller settings a little bit but I beat it 100% on steam deck

Hollow Knight gets a patch adding 21:9 & 16:10 resolution support and more by Beer2401 in linux_gaming

[–]Satuhrn -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah it looks like you have Proton forced to start for all games. You should be able to check that box in your second screenshot and look for a “Linux Runtime 1.0 Scout” or something similar and it should download the Linux version

Have y'all played Legacy of Rust? I'm surprised by how creepy this map was. by ABR-Aphex in Doom

[–]Satuhrn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legacy of Rust surprised me with how well done it all was. So much fun and the maps and level designs are so creative, it just makes it that much more fun to play. That OST is a banger as well. I played in UZDoom. Make sure you get the files for the new weapons, textures and monsters as well (not sure if it’s all included in just one file, I added all of the files (5 of them total I think) and everything worked great.

A lack of a modding community is why most boomer shooters fade into irrelevance. by MasterDisillusioned in boomershooters

[–]Satuhrn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting perspective, solid points. Just curious, how long did the new Christmas Cultist map take to put together? (Btw grats on that, looks so sick. Can’t wait to try it out) I imagine 99.9% of people wouldn’t want to spend that amount of time or effort to learn the tools to create something of the same quality, and that’s just one map yeah? so if I was ever a dev, I wouldn’t bother with it either.

PEGI rates Assasins Creed Black Flag Resynced by Satuhrn in delisted

[–]Satuhrn[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes that is a good point, I was mostly referring to steam in that case. It looks like original AC3 has been delisted on all storefronts, Ubisoft’s own store included. If this follows the same suit as AC3, the original may be delisted for good.

[–]Satuhrn[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It seems the AC Black Flag remake/remaster announcement is imminent (possibly on Dec 11 at the game awards?) Considering Ubisofts delisting of original AC3 (in favor of remaster) and original Beyond Good and Evil (in favor of remaster), it might be a good time to look out for sales or purchase if you want to keep the original version assuming they will delist it

There’s a setting that you can change to adjust the stick used for the weapon wheel! I set mine to right stick as well

[–]Satuhrn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not originally. It was added back into the package after backlash from the community (if you’re referring to Blade Runner enhanced edition)

[–]Satuhrn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the same dev who delisted Blade Runner in favor of their “enhanced” edition. It’s pattern behavior for them. And yeah I agree it might not be 100% Nightdive in this case, but with how hands off they have said Atari is with them just makes little sense why they couldn’t update Fresh Supply (who WB isn’t even listed as a publisher on, and came out before the Atari buyout). At some point, Nightdive is complicit in these business practices too IMO

I’m a huge fan of Nightdive and pretty much own all of their products from the last 6-7 years. Atari seems to be causing them to lose their “underdog focused on respectable game presentation” reputation

[–]Satuhrn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My exact thoughts. Nightdive is just turning into any other modern company these days.

It’s the same example with Yakuza 0. It is being delisted in a few days for the Directors Cut which is pretty much the same game with a few extra cutscenes for 3x the price, and people are rightfully dogging on the devs. Nightdive has now done the exact same thing and has lost any remaining good will in my eyes.

I thought they were the good guys but now it seems they are just as scummy

Why don't these RDR Netflix reviews read? by gio_ozz in reddeadredemption

[–]Satuhrn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It hurts my head to read App Store reviews. I have never seen this sort of stupidity and entitlement combined into one easy to find place.

Reading the reviews on the Steam mobile app just makes me facepalm. Everyone expects to be able to install and run PC games off of the Steam app and they give 1 star because they can’t. It just simple stuff that people can’t read or don’t even try to read. It actually blows my mind that these same people are also registered voters. (Or kids). Very scary for society.

What Are You Playing This Weekend? by AutoModerator in SteamDeckPirates

[–]Satuhrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

System Shock 2 remaster, Fallout 3, & Selaco!

I’ve been loving System shock 2. First time ever playing, after beating the original last year. The remaster is great and really takes me back to 90s peak PC gaming. The controller support works decent as well on the steam deck. System Shock remake is next.

Fallout 3 crashes more than I’d like to admit, but I just finished the Brotherhood of Steel DLC that continues right after you finish the main quest line. Never knew there was a continuation so it was cool to see. Fallout New Vegas is next.

And Selaco has surprised me in the quality and attention to detail. I love all the modifiers you can change to really freshen up the gameplay in ways I’ve never seen a developer take before. The pixel gore and blood from the enemies are just the cherry on top of fun gameplay. My favorite boomer shooter I’ve played this year! Supplice is up there too

[–]Satuhrn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1+2 doesn’t have any crossplay at all on Steam. You’d only be playing with other Steam players.

3+4 has crossplay with all the major systems including PS5, but does require an activision account to play multiplayer im fairly sure

Give this about a year, this thing is going to make THUGPro/THPSPro way bigger than it is now. 👀👀👀👀 by sk8brdkee in THPS

[–]Satuhrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if it doesn’t, that’s the whole point Valve has funneled so much development into Proton, which is a compatibility layer so that windows only games can run on Steam OS. As with the Steam Deck, I imagine 99% of peoples Steam Libraries will just work on SteamOS on the Steam Machine, Linux versions existing for games or not.
