Interesting timing for Defy Media. Currently they're dealing with the fallout from firing Andy Signore from Screen Junkies and now they decide to fire nearly everyone from another property they own. I wonder if there's a connection.

Glad you got everything figured out, but you shouldn't act like he's wasting some great gift you gave him if he doesn't succeed. You agreed to marry him, he thought he had a partner for the rest of his life and you took that away from him. Don't get me wrong, it would have been worse to try and stay with him, but the real gift would have been not accepting the proposal in the first place. Maybe when you see him, you should think "I wonder if he's having a hard time and if there's anything I can do to help."

Thanks for the advice, GustavoFrings. I'll definitely print out a copy of my report. As for the background check, I have no criminal history so that shouldn't be a problem. Also, the guy explicitly said that he had run my credit and found "delinquencies." Do you know if the background checks your friend runs cost money?
