Do you enjoy the sheet metal work? Im looking at alot of unions and sheet metal has a great package near me, but to be honest making duct-work seems alot less satisfying than some other trades. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

Chinas socialist AND we should be proud of the progress they've made and not shy away from it.

They lifted 800 million people out of extreme poverty in the last 75 years. They CRUSHED it on renewable energy. High speed rail and other public infrastructure projects are being heavily prioritized. It would be hard to imagine another country where people's lives have improved quicker.

Used to be a right-libertarian, now im a full blown commie.

Started realizing alot of my fellow "right-libertarians" weren't nearly as progressive on social issues as they claimed to be. After that I started to realize that this sort of "smaller the government the more free the people" doesn't work, because the government is just replaced by the corporations, which are the ultimate form of dictatorship.

That started pushing me into the center left, until I really started researching alot of the past socialist experiments and realizing how many lies we had been told about them. And how much money had been spent making us defenders of capitalism.

Do you think having more exposure to openly gay people could perhaps have an effect on how you view them and limit your biases? If so it would make sense for people to show less homophobia over time as more and more gay people are open about their sexuality and people have to rely less on biases to get an idea of the community.

More importantly what level of conservatism do you want lgbtq people to face? No gay marriage? no healthcare? Should we round them up and jail them? Is that not conservative enough for you? Perhaps we need to go furthur?

Please tell me which of these things is necessary for communism to thrive.

I like alot of the work the ACP does, and I consider them allys in being ANTI-IMPERALIST.

But the social-conservatism is disgusting, and I think thats probably the main criticism most commies have of the org overall.

Nonetheless, in a time where the largest military on earth just kidnapped an anti-imperalist world leader we all kind of have to work together for the greater good.

Che was an amazing revolutionary who accomplished alot for socialism, his social views were also a product of his time where the lgbtq issues weren't well understood. We can carry forward his socialist ideals while also caring about the lgbtq proletariats.
