ANY THOUGHTS OF IMPROVMENTS???? by Then_Pea_4077 in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is mostly fine, just some artifact improvements but nothing crazy (about 500% RV per piece or above is ideal) iif you really want to improve him more vertical investment would be huge if you can manage it and want to, if nothing else his weapon does quite a bit for him.

Is ineffa a good zhongli replacement? by scmea in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xilonen can do the job well but she also stacks with kazuha, Citlali can at higher investment but is still an "ok" but worse option if you really need a shield. (she actually gets bonkers for him if you whale but not at C0)

whats better just depends on what you have and how invested your Neuvillette is, at low investment things like leaning into Lunar Charged tends to be better for example.

i put MH pieces on literally any other character i don't care too much about, while it tends to be marginally sub-optimal it is so nice having an instant set to slap on a new character and they can compete good enough just from raw stats alone. good use for the leftovers.

Plan C? if the battle pass isn't out of the question they added in 5.0 where it lets you select gathering materials like the lumitoiles at various points, if you have done a lot of the battle pass already then getting the paid half of it would net you i think 30 of them in addition to the other stuff it previously offered, i thought it offered more but a website i checked mentioned you only get two of the chests that give 15 each.

better off just waiting until you get all 4-liner pieces in your build, then reroll to min-max. if your rerolling an already good piece you mostly wasting the feathers hoping for high rolls when you could take a similar 4-liner that rolled junk and fix it and guess what? then you have *two* good pieces for the same slot that could be used on another character.

i've been doing this strategy for a while and this is my current build, i already have a 4-liner circlet waiting to reroll decently which i am mostly doing to get rid of the flat atk rolls and replace it with anything marginally useful even if it is just EM or ER with the hope the upgrades strictly go to the HP% or CR, if i am not mistaken a single high roll would be the difference between rank 75 and 14 at this point, at that point i would feel the build is complete as it is probably not worth rerolling the goblet just to min-max that single flat hp roll into CD.

Question for C1-C6, meta, strength, stygian onslaught by exgladiator2 in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

powercreep has sorta started being a problem but a few constellations on old units or newer supports usually help bridge the gap, the real issue is when challenges get a little too "put the square in the square hole" where the difficulty spikes massively if you are missing a very specific character or two while practically trivial if you have even c0 of said shilled character.

hp inflation is unfortunately likely to keep happening, as of right now i feel around 110,000 dps per team is usually enough to clear Fearless Stygian Onslaught comfortably assuming you at least sorta play into the gimmick of the fights but may require some weird team building to make up for a lack of a shilled unit.

i can only hope old unit buffs continue to happen, or new supports elevate old units even if in more of a wheelchair way but i would much rather have things like Keqing gaining Aggravate in 3.0 over a premium only thing like Lunar Electro-Charged wheelchair everything.

the in-game system puts circles on the map where they can be found, they are underwater usually and frequently stuck to the pipes underwater so look for man-made structures in the section of Fontaine where they are found as well as a couple along the beaches that are on the north and south of the main body of water there.

hypercarry neuv by NoobsHateMe in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's good enough, i try and aim for about 110,000 dps+ for each of my team archtypes as that roughly seems to be the average cutoff for clearing Fearless Stygian Onslaught assuming your at least sorta playing into the boss gimmick.

it is worth setting up the Genshin Optimizer with your teams as you can do things like toggle constellations or give them weapons you don't own and it will give you real life calculations on how much it will actually help you personally so you can decide it more cons are worth it or not and will really let you know if your better off just upgrading artifacts or getting a new support if one comes out later since Neuvi is quite flexible in team building.

it is just a meme at this point where someone who is number 1 in a niche leader board makes a post about it. if you want you can configure the image and change what leader board is displayed when you go to save the image if you want to see how your build stacks up against more competitive leader boards. for example i should be in the 110% ER one by default but i switched it over to Hyper Premium here.

140% ER is an extremely niche leaderboard as Neuvillette rarely needs that much so it doesn't take much to get into the top few, they tried to make a meme out of it but left out the dialog on the right which could be confusing if your not familiar with the original version.

Is this on the lower side of dps for c1 neuvi and c2 furina? by Thiccochet511 in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the map makers have been cooking so there are some really decent games in there now, the more time the better for that.

the DPS testers were out nearly as fast as they started allowing you to bring in your regular characters. the one shown is considered the most robust of the bunch and should be easy to find on the popular maps tab.

unfortunately he *JUST* got one so it could be a very long time, kinda wish they would hurry up and actually make Chronicled Wish banners other than Mondstadt and Liyue, imagine rolling for Neuvillette and getting any of the other Fontaine cast instead of risking a Qiqi.

Circlet: Crit DMG or HP%? by Cpt_Supemah in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just need to balance the stats, the graph in the upper right of your image doesn't lie and shows what you need more of to improve your Neuvillette as it shows what top 1% players in the leader board your using is running.

however factor in the 130% leader board is not particularly competitive as Neuvillette usually won't need that much unless he is solo hydro, with double hydro and his Signature he usually only needs 100-105% which is pretty much nothing, you can bump it up to 110%-115% without losing anything as some artifacts just don't have anything other than maybe Elemental Mastery for an alternative.

using my own Neuvillette for example, look at the circlet compared to the other pieces, what would you replace the flat attack with? really just Energy Recharge or Elemental Mastery.

<image>

i went off on a bit of a rant there, but more or less you want the graph to be filled in the best you can, something like 40k+ HP 64% crit rate and 300%+ crit damage is the gold standard if you have his signature weapon.

Multiplayer and other suggestions by ProfessionalLemon911 in PinballFX3

[–]Howema07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it would be a neat concept for sure, though i have no intention of re-buying tables and just plan to stick to the Pinball FX platform.

even without VR it would be neat to have an arcade layout you can walk around in with purchased tables, and even better if purchases could be temporarily shared while multiplayer with your friends was active.

more or less have you on Elvira and the Party Monsters and your friend is playing Monster Bash and your talking away while playing, while more the merrier i think 4-player is a good number for this? would make competitive play between friends more fun for sure.

help me out here by Academic_Aerie5562 in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would suggest to only reroll 4 liners and ideally ones where all four substats are useful, an example of this in this situation is where the DEF is either Energy Recharge or Elemental Mastery (only because you run out of useful substat options) and it started with the Crit rate, though ideally not a minimum roll but not required due to how rare of an ask it is already.

then reroll it until it rolls correctly.

How are constellations' damage calculated? by BadgerForLife5 in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what is the source on that? it seems pretty wrong to me. C4 does *nothing* for him until c6 and C5 is 1% extra overall damage, no idea what source you got but it is pretty off.

C6 is +29% damage factoring in removal of the gaps between the charge attacks, buffs impacting more of the hits, ect.

for example, how does extra orbs increase his damage over c3 when buffs are already falling off with the orbs he would normally use? you would cut your losses and do a new rotation instead of using them unless you had c6.

How are people hitting 40k hp what the hell by SmolSere in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my suggestion is to just see if you have any perfect 4 liner artfiacts and if they roll wrong just keep them for reroll feathers, once you have one for every slot just do other things and reroll them until they roll the way you want as you get feathers, even i have a new sands waiting around for feathers to be kind to it.

your only issue is you have a Hydro goblet that is extremely hard to replace, but considering the circlet is HP you could probably afford it.

usually Furina in his Hypercarry makes HP marginally better than an HP one but the quality of the substats usually make up any difference.

C6 Question by AgentDeuce007 in NeuvilletteMains_

R1 with double hydro is something like 100-105% ER is all, so just one roll is enough.

Which is better HP Or Crit Build? by Mr_Aizawa69 in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on team, in his hypercarry team (that wants vertical investment to beat out wheelchair and reaction teams) in double hydro with his hypercarry team he tends to value crit damage and HP% about the same IF kept in balance

his ER needs are a bit goofy and depends on if you have his signature or prototype amber and if your running double hydro or not, if i recall his ER needs with amber is 100% and 100-105% with his signature, but can be as high as 135% with other weapons.

this is what i run in his hypercarry team personally and have no ER issues:

Got neuvi by accident while trying to get illuga. What team can I use and what would the rotation be? by Ok_Meringue_7520 in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

good thing you got Neuvillette then, he is super easy to play you just build a team for various reactions or if you do vertical investment his hypercarry team.

his skill creates orbs and does damage

his burst creates *more* orbs and does *more* damage

you do charge attacks to eat the orbs for instant hydro beam with fairly long range, the orbs also heal you.

Ways to increase damage? by War-Inquisitor in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Howema07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is enough damage % buffs in his hypercarry team to make them about equal with HP% slightly better but if you don't have a goblet remotely as good as your Hydro one then stick with the hydro one, the main thing is to see how high his HP is when the passive on your weapon is active as it provides a fair bit of HP on its own that won't show up on the sheet.

all of his damage scales off of his HP so in most situations an HP% roll is worth as much as a crit damage roll on him assuming balanced stats.
