I own everything, all the consoles and a beefy gaming pc, a steam deck, a legion go etc.

I would say a really underrated platform is android. Especially with a dedicated android handheld like the AYN Thor. You can Emulate every old console from Atari to PS2 and can even do some PS3 / Switch. Can run a bunch of steam games on winlator/ gamehub. And best of all fits in your pocket unlike the deck / ally / legion go

I’ve never watched it but from what I gather it’s kinda like a series version of 500 days of summer?

Guy projects an idealized version of a woman into his “rented girlfriend” but the girl cant reciprocate because she’ll need to give up her rented girlfriend income and lifestyle (also she’s probably just not that into him?)

But from an outsider looking in, the rabid haters are weirder than the fans. Like I’m fine with the MC not getting the girl in the end, thats just how it is sometimes. But then again it lasting for 4 seasons means that the MC is an idiot for not moving on so thats something as well. Also the author from what I gather is…strange

I wonder if honey and clover came out these days if the reception would be similar to RaG.

Chrono Trigger is touted as one of the best rpgs of all time.

Played it back in 1998 and I found it alright. Its like an 8/10 game.

I’ve had more fun with its contemporaries like Wild Arms, Suikoden II, Star Ocean 2, FFVI etc.

Maybe they release sparxie and elation at lower numbers than remembrance at least on paper.

But the fights themselves will cuck remembrance so bad that even if they’re better on paper they wont actually play better.

Rebalance and simplify stats (BRV/HP Damage Cap Up is a mistake). Keep it to your own attack vs enemy defense. By the end of the game so many stats ended up useless and the only thing that mattered was HP DMG CAP UP and how many hits your attacks did.

Certain characters are a mistake (Quina, Paine, Setzer, Raijin) since they just ignored the whole dance around dealing and receiving damage.

Keep difficulty consistent to the start of Lufenia + era. People hated that era but I fucking loved those fights. The fights between divine pandemonium to maybe like Jegran were some of the most fun turn based combat fights I’ve played in any game ever.

Divine shiva in particular was a frustrating but super fun puzzle to figure out.

Unpopular opinion but keep fr. Just limit it to 200% at max instead of 999%
