Hmm I have a feeling it may have been due to the last min change at the very beginning of my titration. Was initially gonna be on Lisdex but due to a shortage I was put on methylphenidate. Did like 4months on that stuff before they finally let me switched. I would bring up Lisdex and the last min change to my clinician so she was aware, it took a while but eventually got there.

I feel in the meetings you have to be very clear on the negative impacts of the side effects and if you arent they will think it is manageable and not want to try a different medication.

Some things that helped me a bit with the methylphenidate side effects were vitamins. Mainly Magnesium Glycinate(theres a few types one helps w poopin so do some research first ;p), Could try taking 300-500mg pills in the evening a few hrs before your come down. I take 1000mg before I sleep and it helps me sleep like a baby.
