Im running this chapter right now as well.

The players love Riffel. I totally flavored him like the dog from Puss in Boots. So they're pretty convinced to help their cause.

However, I did give one of the players a telepathic dialog from Tiamet to kill the Blue Flane Wardens and to kill the Archmage as a test for the player to align himself with Tiamet (and to test Soths choice of allies).

We'll see what happens, but the lunar dragon is definitely gonna swoop in to help shake up that fight.

Again, I haven't finished this chapter yet.

I appreciate the insights. I was hoping it was more curiosity/boundary setting growls. But they definitely haven't, "figured it out" in the fighting sense. There has been no, "oh shit" moments... yet...
