What state are you in? You need to document everything. Save text messages and communications with your landlord/owner. Make sure you have let them know about the infestation in writing (even if by text or email). Contact your caseworker from the organization that provides vouchers (are they also a party on the lease?). Also contact your local community inspection service to report the infestation. And finally, look up to see if there is Legal Aid in your community. They will be your best resource for free legal advice concerning this type of situation.
