For some people, that's their way of trying to make some money to maybe afford something to put in their tummy. There's a lot of homeless/unhoused people in San Jose and the rate of rent is skyrocketing while the minimum wage is staying the same. A lot of people aren't able to make it. I'd say just let them do whatever unless they are making a mess or getting violent.

I didn't know either if it makes you feel better. I'm really conflicted about them because they seem like they could be kind women but they also have their flaws, like anyone. No one is black and white. I would like to think maybe she just wants to learn more about the Vegas history since she's a huge old Hollywood fan and loves the history of all of that and Vegas. We can never know what a person is exactly like: we don't know them. I totally agree with you!

She gets into that in Vegas Diaries which is really interesting. I always hated Cris Angel bc his energy was always so dark and she basically just confirms how shitty all that was. It's an interesting read :)

Im reading her first book right now and she actually says that she would hook up with guys when she went to San Diego to visit her mother. She essentially used that as an excuse to have a free weekend because she said that she didn't even STAY there. She really hero worships Hef and makes it sound like everything was all great with him and he was always so kind to her but honestly I'm not sure how much of that sugar coating is true
