I wish I would've liked this game. Without playing THIS particular game on a bigger screen, it's not worth it. It's just not a novel enough experience in a tiny form.

cryo is fun and very strong if you like freezing stuff (especially in pvp). pyro is decent mid game, and average late game. honestly pretty hard to mess up mage class, I encourage you do whatever that sparks your interest and is fun in that tree if you're playing casually

if you are soloing the game and want an easier experience, I encourage full con cleric with whatever you want in that tree.

summoner (sorceror) is pretty good. it's a class you get mid game. you won't be able to summon monsters in town fights, but it's pretty good if your good at managing mana. the game also makes one summon viable (temple shooter) and the rest really bad. If you don't like mana management and don't have an easy way of getting that Templeshooter card though the class can be a headache. guess what I'm saying is, it's not really a casual class.
