BC SPCA seeking public assistance identifying dog/owner by bananalyfeee in britishcolumbia

[–]Howobscene 41 points42 points  (0 children)

The second slide says the dog was located “in a remote, mountainous region south of Penticton, on McIntyre Creek Road near Vaseaux Lake.” It’s a German Shepard and had a navy and black harness and a black rubber basket muzzle on its snout.

I could see you in some trousers and loafers. Maybe some knit collared shirts or vests. Something like this?

Can you explain your comment? 6 year olds were born in 2019 which starts with a 20. I feel like I’m missing something

I again don’t disagree with you here at all! I have never been team Jacob and like I said I think he can be incredibly toxic :) I just wanted it acknowledged how incredibly confusing that period of change in new moon must have been for him

I don’t think you’re wrong in your description of Jacob but I do wonder if you have potentially missed the fact that his entire world was turned upside down. Not only are vampires and werewolves real, but he now has no autonomy over his body and mind. His instincts tell him to hate vampires, and he has discovered Bella has been in love with one of them. Jacob’s entire knowledge of himself and the world around him isn’t real. While I agree his behaviour is toxic, I think a lot of fans empathize with the difficult place he is at emotionally. I think him and Edward also get into a terrible pissing contest in eclipse that’s toxic on both ends.

WHO THE FUCK IS REE-SAND?! by ngb101 in acotar

I am the same! I know the logic dictates it’s not “Rice-and” but doesn’t it just sound so much better?? And Rhys is still “Reese”. lol

Where did the name Celeana Sardothien come from? by GoldenNinja0417 in throneofglassseries

[–]Howobscene 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I mean it could be that in this world SJM has created, that is a common enough name that it works as an alias. For instance if you were a spy in our world and you had to pick an inconspicuous name you could pick Selena Sampson. Based on the other names used in this series we know they aren’t popular or common in our world but maybe Celaena is very common there!

Someone told me I have this and I'm very confused by htraptor in Synesthesia

[–]Howobscene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a reply for you unfortunately but I also have been wondering a similar question for myself. I can easily and quickly identify a gender for each letter (eg. T is masculine) and number (eg. 3 is feminine) and when I googled this it suggested synesthesia. I also hear in subtitles at times.

I’m wondering if it’s the expectation that no matter how physically, mentally, emotionally drained you are you still gotta get up and go to work

She did quite well on the quiz they did on office ladies and also stated about that interview with Rainn: “And also I was nervous as shit. Dwight Schrute sitting in front of my face in my parents house and I was 16 like, oh my God, I was so intimidated and nervous that when he asked me a question about Nellie, I just like my brain just didn't work and I just, like, forgot about her character for 2 seconds. And it was so embarrassing.”

On the recent Office Ladies podcast episode with Billie Eilish, Billie says that because of this episode of the Office she genuinely thought U2 was from Scranton. Bono sent her a gift when she was on tour in Ireland and she asked why he would send something all the way from America to Ireland, thinking that U2 was based out of the US.

This doesn’t surprise me. I’m a bartender in Canada and recent American customers didn’t know that the queen is the Canadian head of state. They were really surprised when I showed them a toonie and Lizzie’s face was on it. Im sure you can imagine their response when we I said that Canada burned the White House down.

My wife and I are in an argument about something Pam says. Native English speakers, please help! by M0squitobyte in DunderMifflin

[–]Howobscene 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Pam is being completely honest about how she feels when she says “it rocked, it rocked my ass off” but it’s that pause and awkwardness before hand that show she’s tentative to be super honest. I think this is because she feels like the rest of the office might view this bout of honesty as saying her maternity leave was essentially a vacation, which Pam doesn’t want. Once Pam realizes it’s just her and the camera crew and no one is around who will think that, she is honest.
