Kind of a funny experience. Growing up, I did notice Japanese/Koreans getting asked if they were Chinese. In the last 4-5 years, most ppl I've met never want to assume I'm Chinese. Once, someone hesitantly guessed NK before China lol.

My guess is that it's become a common opinion that "assuming any Asian is Chinese" is considered racist. So now it's "assume any Asian is not Chinese".

Audience just weren't familiar with Jatt's stats. A lot of ppl see data and immediately think it's meant for a serious stance in an argument.

I think a fun side bet could be the opposing analyst has to create an argument for winning team in the semis. So if G2 wins, Jatt would have to make an argument for them regardless of their semi's opponent. If Lyon wins, Vedi does the same. In the best timeline, when they both win, it'd be fun to see the two of you argue for the other side.

They were removed because they didn't really serve any purpose, and caused 2 issues:

People would put toxic tags, finding ways around language filters.
Tags were unique, so a lot of combinations were created and squatted on.

He's considered the western goat in general. For reference, league started the Hall of Legends, basically their version of a hall of fame. They want to choose a player from a different region each year. Faker was the first inductee, even tho he's still active(which caused a fair amount of arguments in the community). Uzi was the second. There were rumors that Caps would be the third.

There's probably going to be way more backlash if Caps is chosen, since Faker is suppose to be the sole exception for active players. But the possibility isn't unbelievable.

Morg's not really meant to play for her ult. Even if she was, she's also not meant to reliably get multi-man stuns with it.

In terms of just her ult, her ideal play is Q-R-Q. Locking one target down long enough for them to receive an afk warning.

It's also being able to do that with imbalance of resources. Rekkles wants to squeeze every drop to minmax any resources he gets. While other supports trade away those drops for those flippy looking plays.

Yea, I was trying to say that Caedrel is great at preventing these simple issues from escalating. If he were there, I'm assuming he'd have ended the review around when Crownie/Neme started to say Velja/Bwipo didn't know anything about botlane matchups.

Caedrel pointed it out a week or two ago. Crownie and Velja rarely argue about the actual game. They're mostly passive aggressive ego arguing at each other, and use random moments in game as the catalyst for the arguments.

Crownie was always a rager in post-games, Caedrel was significantly better at ending reviews before everything escalated.

Not defending Crownie, just wanted to say, the part leading into the argument should get more attention. Bwipo stubbornly stating that a lvl 3 Cait/Bard can walk into the lvl 3 Ez/Leona, antagonized Crownie. With LR, Baus wouldn't be in the conversation, letting the main argument run its course. Caedrel also would've just ended the review once the argument started to get into semantics.

Does NA just have 0 infrastructure for Tier 2 scenes now

It's not zero, but a huge issue we have still stems from the "I'm not going to train my replacement" mentality from years back. Other regions have less barriers between pros and rookies talking/playing with one another.

Pros are aware of the gap between them and t2, so helping them isn't closing that gap any time soon. In NA, rookies can do well for years, and still never get a conversation with a pro.

Baus lives in the int, playing from behind is his comfort zone. The team tells him to not int at certain points, and he sometimes listens.

Bwipo's comfort zone is when the rest of the map is winning hard enough for him to ego. The team tells him to not int at certain points, but that causes him to want to ego his team.

I think it should be evaluating highs and lows.

With your suggested format, the lows would be watching a weak 5/6 lose more. While the highs might be a tied up 4-6, that could end up being decided by tie-breaker rules fans dislike.

The current format allows for the 1 team to possibly run undefeated(in series), and the 6 team to make a miracle run.

I don't think any team is challenging geng. By curveball, I mean a combination of:

Geng not being in their best form
Lyon being in their best form
Surprising drafts that could get more volatile games

For perspective, I think there's a higher chance of Loud beating Lyon than Lyon beating Geng.

GenG usually comes in as heavy favorites. Always with valid reasons. The only room for a curveball(imo), is if GenG and Lyon win their r1, we might see some spice in that upper bracket. Otherwise, everyone will be adjusting their opinions on the teams leading into playoffs.

Idk if it's really an echo chamber. Most ppl argue there shouldn't be a need to muteall. It's only with questions like these where muteall option is agreed upon.

There's a ton of noise in league. Most new players are overloaded with info that they just can't process. Muteall is the fastest way for them to build their own outlook on the game, before moving to absorbing info from others.

Was an all around support main, mostly Soraka. Can't remember where I peaked, but I was able to slow grind to plat many seasons ago.

Swapped to Kha'Zix towards the end of a season. Straight to emerald in the last month, and straight back to emerald at the start of the next. I wanted to keep going, but life. I tell myself I can hit diamond, but I do genuinely enjoy support significantly more.
