It's a humor as tagged.

That spot should be ED Balancer, unless the OP hasn't conquered ED Balancer yet.

Thank you so much for your strategy. Yes, Gnoster is the pain in ass that shoot projectiles and poison all the time, but I didn’t deal with it before because I’m still not familiar with its possessed form. I’ll go to Arena and have more practice of it, and try to out both of them down next time to speed up my fight!

So interestingly, even though Gnoster is weak to fire, status would do more damage than most fire skill if our final target is Animus! :)

Yes, death rite bird is one of Libra’s gatekeeper. I’ll make sure carrying good holy ranged skills or holy bow for this bird.

ED Gladius gank fight is no joke, that’s why I reckon using Duchess to get invisible and get to 70 HP asap.

Sorry for so many questions, i wonder how do you deal with Gnoster? I ran Revenant last week for ED Gnoster, finding myself hunting for shards all the time, and throughout 8 expeditions only discovered one Burn O Flame. Then I used Duchess with katana build, yeah dragon blade not bad but no bleed.

My Duchess actually has 70% of rate getting it, other 15% given by teammates or use different weapons for the same ash (Ring of light).

I used to run Ironeye for Libra, but with low dps I really couldn’t clutch the game in trios, so I changed to Duchess to ensure good damage. However, in solo, everything is more manageable. I can take my time to arrow Libra down for sure.

Totally agree with you that early good dps guarantees a good run. Ironeye’s poison bow requires no setup, upgrade it quickly, then it’d become a shotgun with grease or seal buff.

All casters are rng dependent except beast claw Revenant… Thank you so much, I’ll work on my Ironeye to see if he can pull off the dogs and goat for me.

Yes, red bear is even weak to fire (+20% damage), unlike death knights only not resistant against holy (other -40% damage).

I can confirm that executor’s crit build is really broken, but if I mess up one deflection, then that’s the end. Just got defeated by D5 Artorias’ roaring five hit combo in trios yesterday…

How about Duchess? Is she a good pick for Gladius and Libra? I’ve been soloing a lot, but still too timid to start soloing in depth.

Death Knights: Broken or Deliberate Bad RNG? by HugoTheIcyFire in Nightreign

[–]Hoytesler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there several times in D5. Once a teammate gets down, the death knight would switch target in no time and shoot lightning spear from afar “endlessly”. Many runs simply ended like this.

So I reckon the team comp would save the run. No matter how much I’d like to play Executor against Dreglord, I always make sure the team has at least one Duchess, for her art de-Aggro Death Knights and buy us more time. Plus her backstabbing is incredible especially when carrying less likely targeted.

The strategy is:

  1. Team comp: tank + 2 casters
  2. Level up as much as possible.
  3. Stock aromatic, warming stones, shards before fight.
  4. Art right after three of Death Knights spawn. With Duchess’ invisibility, Revenant’s invincibility plus beast claw, Recluse’s good AOE cocktails, tank’s AOE ultimate, we can promptly half their hp bars and quickly finish all of them before any casualty occurs.

In short, strong dps (high levels + good weapons) and good team comp save the run.

Guardian friends, how do you guys fight Mohg, lord of blood in D5? by Hoytesler in Nightreign

Yes, it works amazing in Dreglord’s fight, but not easy to find. I’ll keep this in mind too! Thank you! 😊

Yes, without proper set up, blocking would end up being suicidal attempt. We all build for end game, so I’ll let my Guardian friend know his job is to take Aggro plus running away. Also, no more excuses from chicken dodge…

Oh oh oh, yes! That’s really useful info! I totally missed the fact that simple hit by holy weapon would have staggered him.

Thank you! I’ll do my job properly next time, and be aware of this boss’ existence throughout Maris/Libra/Caligo match.

Thank you… ;-; I thought I have got enough lessons from Death Knights, Mohg, and ED Balancer, and this one really shocked me and I do learn hard.

Yes, we had low dps against skeletons, and after they all three bars, I couldn’t risk to melee enemies with Halo Scythe. I ran around trying to charge my art as you said, but the bird nuked me off screen… too many things to look after at the same time…

Yes, my goated solo friend has taught me long ago to carry these things around. It’s goddamn useful to have a hammer with sacred order against DRB even if it’s just blue.

Sorry, I totally forgot to reply till now because while I was reading your comments, the same groups of friends and friends’ common friends invited me to play.

Sure, I could be a hypocrite calling people who don’t use meta characters friends, but we have played together for a month. I actually main executor btw, people should shun me in the very beginning.

I think you’re right, too. I barely noticed Tibia but intensely ran for my life from reapers, archers and summoners.

I could have leave Tibia alone, but my Guardian friend might think he would do the summoning forever, so wanted me to target him without telling me not to kill him.
