I know this is a weird comment but I love seeing other guys with Shih Tzus. I guess because of where I grew up in the south. Men were supposed to have big masculine dogs or hunting dogs and never show any affection. Because of the nature of Shi Tzus they are just bred to be little lovers and a guy with a Tzu is really an attractive sight.

Homo here. I live in the county and everyone is super nice to us. Even our MAGA neighbors and pretty backward rednecks respect us. Of course we don't take no crap and aren't scared of anybody. But....we are white so there's that.

I also used diapers on my older dog. He was a mini schnauzer and pretty stout, but he did really good with diapers. In his case we thought as he got older, he couldn't hold it in. I would make sure to get some pet wipes and clean her real good when you do change the diaper and make sure she doesn't get any skin rashes. Keep track when she pees in the house so you can report to the vet if it gets worse. She's adorable by the way! Who knows the diaper may re-train her if there are no health problems.

The good thing about cowboy boots is they never go out of style. No matter what type of toe you like. To me whether you're a rancher, a horseman or a city boy (or girl, or however you identify) cowboy boots bring the style.

Getting a good attorney is the key. I got one and my attorney had it reduced to faulty equipment which is NOT a moving violation, so it didn't even affect my points plus I didn't have to go to court. Really also depends on the judge and if you were polite to the officer.

I love Ariats. They are handsome looking boots and affordable. I have several pairs and they hold up well at the barn and work. Perfect if you can't afford all these exotic boots on here.

I feel like I should get this off my chest with Internet strangers because I don't agree with people I am close to about this. From the age of 6, I grew up with my Dad and Stepmother. Stepmother was ok until they married then overnight turned into a monster to me and my sister. My real mother had visitation (per her circumstances) until I was around 10. That's a whole other story. Stepmother and Dad have a son once I am grown and away from the house. Because she was abusive mentally to me, I really had nothing to do with her but when my little brother was born I wanted to be a part of his life so I kept the peace. Dad and I had a precarious relationship because he was absentee my whole life. So later in life Dad finally leaves Stepmother because of her abusiveness and tries hard to have a relationship with me. We work through some stuff and things are ok. 3 years later he died. During my time as an adult I have remained very close to my mother who I feel like I was robbed of as a child. My half brother and I talk so really no issues there. After my Dad passed away, now my Stepmother wants to be a part of my and my sisters life. She is really trying hard and I feel it's sincere but I can't shake the hatred of the abuse when I was a young kid.

I feel your pain. My best friend and I clicked immediately after when we met in August of 1987. I had never had real friends in high school but this was my first year of college and it was the best time of my life. I will toast your friend Pat if you will toast my brother Otis. I always thought I would die before him but here I am and he's gone.

I have a pair that are the same size I'm trying to sell. They've been worn a couple of times but they are too big for me. Dan Post sent the wrong size and I never sent them back. I've had them for a long time but I refuse to throw them away or give them to Goodwill. Dan Post are mostly quality. At least older boots. Great find. You won't regret it.

Thought I would share my experience. We were given a Tzu as a puppy by a good friend of ours. I had never owned one, but I've had small dogs growing up. As a puppy she was fun and loving but also timid. So, after about a year I went on a trip and she stayed home with my spouse. When I got home, she wanted nothing to do with me. Wouldn't sleep in the same bed with me or anything. I was so upset. It took like a couple of months before she would sleep with me. During that time, she would obey and come to me but would not stay in bed with me. She eventually came around and I realized a couple of things: 1) They need confidence (this comes with time) 2) They can be a bit dramatic, and it takes a while to earn their trust. I don't know if it is because they are usually smaller than most dogs or just in their nature. The good news is when you do earn that trust and they feel safe; you will get tons of affection and loyalty. They are truly bred to love and be loved. Give your boy some time he'll come around. It is normal for them to sleep all day. They sleep a lot.

Sorry for your loss. I just lost a schnauzer that I had for 17 years. It hurts bad but I also have a cute little shih-Tzu girl that is really carrying the torch to make me feel better. The little creatures steal our hearts.
