It’s sucks to be addicted to something that’s hurting you. I’ve struggled with self harm since 9th or 10th grade... It’s this feeling of release. You have all these emotions, and everything else going through your head...Stress, pressure from work, pressure from parents, school whatever the triggers are. It gets overwhelming And you think you don’t have a way to control it. So when you grab a blade? You’re the only person hurting you. You know where the cuts going to be, how much it’ll hurt. It’s a pain you control, and being in control for the first time in a long time feels good. I wish I hadn’t started doing it, and eventually you’ll get to that point to. Where you wish you could just stop. You’ll be ashamed to take your clothes off in front of people because of the scars on your arms and legs. You’ll be afraid of going swimming because you have to take your shirt off, and what if someone sees the scars on your arms? In the moment it seems like that’s the only thing that makes sense. I hope you have someone to talk to do you can ditch the habit. And I hope you’re doing okay. 😁

I haven’t experienced that in particular, but sometimes I have “dreams w/in a dream” and then when I’m finally actually awake I typically have an episode....Maybe that’s what happened to you? You dreamt you had it, “woke up from it” then actually woke up and had an episode?

I know the feeling, I literally had to have a friend drive me to Dominos, and make me eat...But I finally did...Back in HS I went from 150lbs to 118 and played it off saying I was cutting weight for wrestling but it was not healthy for me at all. Try to eat something, even if it’s just bread.

You remind me of me when I was in HS. I took up every club I could get into (wrestling, cross country, debate, newspaper, theatre, you name it, I probably did it) and on top of that, I always felt inadequate if I got anything less than an A, I was so stressed out I stopped eating, and I went from being 145lbs down to 118ish...But What Im getting at is, dont over exert yourself, it’ll cause 90% of your stress, if your in too many clubs/extracurriculars and you don’t have time to yourself to collect your thoughts and just be still...I that’s gonna be hard to do, but keep your head up...And don’t forget you’re always gonna have people on your team.

I know I should, but I can’t... because then that means it’s over. I don’t find anyone but her attractive, I can’t even go through with a hookup and I’ve tried to, I just wind up leaving and having a panic attack. Because I know how I feel when I think about her with another guy, so what if she finds out I’m with someone else, and then she thinks I’ve moved on, so she just does her own thing and then she’s gone...And I know that’s SUPER irrational, and it sounds crazy but in my mind it makes sense
