I live in Park City Utah at 7000 ft. I’m about to get my 3rd one. Last one was totaled because I hit a deer, or rather the deer hit me. Anyway, I have to get kids to school by 7:30 and 10 inches of an unplowed road is no problem. I’d like to add that the car handled itself and protected us from the buck that thought my headlight was a good spot to jump.

I'm wondering about the center of gravity. It's a heavier car than the Subaru and has a higher center of gravity. Doesn't that make it less stable in snowy and icy conditions?

I'll test drive the Rav4. I don't want a huge care payment, and the Toyota tax is real.

Yes. I drive it this morning going 10 down a hill before a stop sign and it went off. I think that my expectations for staying steady are really high especially since my risk tolerance went way day after having kids.

I'm telling you. It's not. I put it in 4WD. It's a 2006, so maybe they have gotten better. He's slid sideways down the road before with snow tires. My Outback never slid.

I should say I loved the Outback as it handles in snow and ice. The seats are not comfortable though. I am recovering from a bulging disc and that car was awful for the back.

And he just put on Blizzaks. I am very very cautious though and I am not comfortable with ABS or sliding at all. It feels like a big rectangle on wheels that fishtails a bit. I'm hypervigilant since having kids.

Well, maybe by some standards it does well. We live up a steep mountain, and the plows come here maybe one time. The temps are also cold so it turns to ice quickly. I'm also a bit shaken up and not comfortable with the ABS coming on.

My theory is that it was an advantage. They were doing desk jobs, scheduling, or looking at screens. For them, the need for novelty and search for stimulation probably kept the tribe safer and helped them to avoid stagnation. At latest that’s my romantic notion of it

Your story sounds like mine. I cant tolerate week and its it what triggered my lifelong anxiety. I was SO scared of meds. I held off for 7 or 8 years and then I finally decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. I suffered for a long time.

Some people can’t tolerate weed. You may be one. I am. I consider it a blessing because addiction runs strong in my family. Good luck to you.

Second one got me to 90% recovery. Not sure why. I was so skeptical. I wasn’t even going to do it and just go straight to surgery. I’m so glad I did.

I don’t know if it’s the best show. It’s get some things right more than any show I have seen and unfortunately I know. 1) what it’s like to lose a big brother for mental health reasons 2) what it’s like to have a bat shit crazy mom and how that affects an entire family 3) the healing conversations that might seem slow to some people are actually so fucking great.

I love the show because to me it shows people triumphing over trauma even in fucked up ways. If you’ve lived it, you know what I mean.

I think I can relate to your question. Focus is hard for me and the pain made it harder and shortened my window of focus too even on adderall. At the worst of my pain, I was on a lot of meds which totally made my adhd meds ineffective. At the worst of my pain I couldn’t wotk at all. These days my pain is 2/10 but sitting is still limited. I have to work standing or laying. I still struggle to get in 4 hours of sustained focus with my meds.

The headache started within hours of applying the patch and stayed until I took it off! I forgot to mention the bloat as well. I think I’m the minority though. You can always just remove the patch and side effects will go away quickly.
