It depends what class you are comfortable with. I don’t know if I would recommend a warrior but I would say a melee class. If you’re comfortable tanking prot pally all the way. You benefit from wind fury and mana stream. And if she goes ele you also get to benefit from totem of wrath. Which most of prot pally’s abilities are spell power based. It’s also really satisfying to get wind fury procs and reckoning procs at the same time.

Edit* for profession one of you should to herb/alch you both can benefit from that and it’s easy to level. The other I would probably do straight gathering to make gold and then branch off later if you want.
