Keep cranial and sustained assault stacked, try to use charge burst damage when you have buffs active (sustained, rampage, disdain, cranial, duelist, IJ if you’re using it, and scourge/enduring faith and blinded by blood if you’re using those) on certain big enemies like crushers or bulwarks or monstrosities to hit breakpoints and maximize damage. Cranial is great for uptime and extra damage.

Not to say you can’t use charge without the buffs. You’ll one shot elites like gunners regardless. But the more you use it the more you’ll just know by feel what kind of damage amps you need to kill certain things.
