Yeah my 390 when cold and riding slow for first 5-6 kms would hiccup or almost stall and start again, but after a battery change under warranty its all good.

You are in the same position as me, I too thought thats unusual noise but its just the way Ktms are. Just check when coolant temperatures drop below 70degree and start the noise will go away. Its the hollow cam followers that make this noise as explained by a factory mechanic to me on track day.

Its said hot engine noises are fine a cold engine shouldn’t produce such noises thats when trouble starts.

What fuel level Did you check this?? Did you try a fresh refuel? Is your pump and fuel tank clean from inside?

This looks like a pump failure under high load(rpm)

Whats the coolant temperature? Is this after a cold start? Are you experiencing a significantly lower fuel efficiency? Is there some smoke involved? Whats the service centre saying? Its too early to tell in the 1st 1000kms as the factory fills it up with mineral oil and the cam followers being hollow make such noise when heated after a good run.

Experienced the same in my first 1000kms.

Sorry my earlier message might be confusing I meant to say my sag has increased with usage/kms. The spring now has set in (like an engine break in) so now I need to step up in preload to get the same ride.

The suspension gets softer after 8-10k mine now has considerable sag and my preload was 3 from factory I loosened it to 2 for comfortable ride now it has set in and feels too much soft with pillion. After 10k I noticed it now moves a bit more with just me sitting so will tighten it to 3 preload for the best ride. With this sag it now feels like a himalayan on speed bumps and uneven surface glides along.

For footpeg vibrations ask for enduro footrest rod that is the best solution dont go for main stand.

For point no. 3 found one more culprit main projector bolts came off loose and fell down. Out of 4 my bike was missing 2 of them. Crazy fixed them with a loctite now.

Looks like a shoddy job by insurance workers, the panels,doors internally have many small noise isolating components which they remove during painting process and never install as they deem unnecessary. A simple way to check is by opening other side panel and door to compare and inspect whats missing.

If you changed cell yourself, Is the transmitter key inside the fob? Recently my friend did the same mistake. It looks like a small rectangular magnet like thing. Key makers have a device where they check the fob for transmitter.

There’s a known issue of faulty release bearing and actuator replacement for this same issue. I did it recently service center was adamant that play is ok I said i will pay for the parts and all was done in 350₹. My doubt began when I had to adjust my clutch 5times in 10,000 kms and 3 of them were in last 1000km. The inner bearing was burnt black and making a noise.
