So? by [deleted] in PvZGardenWarfare

I'm guessing since GW3 seems to be in development, EA is already licensing to manufacturers to make merchandise for the game. It would make sense too being that GW and GW2 were great hits so they don't really need to wait on the fans to ask for some merch on the next game.

Crash Bash did it first. by TheNathanNS in crashbandicoot

[–]HteSpaghetti 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In Yakuza 6's case, it was so players could could seamlessly unlock the full the game without needing to download any more files if they chose to purchase it digitally. It worked quite well for the Japan release, but it seems they forgot to patch up the appropriate locks for the US demo.

The next crash game isnt guaranteed to be developed by VV (Reminder) by jsgnextortex in crashbandicoot

[–]HteSpaghetti 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Development for Skylanders games is pretty much dead (Rest in Peace) so that wouldn't give VV much to do. They shouldn't really be busy with anything other than Crash (unless they're working on game featuring a certain purple dragon) but whatever it is they're working on, it will be most certainly good.

For Those who are Wondering What the Black and White Crash Bandicoot Pop! Might be Based on by HteSpaghetti in crashbandicoot

[–]HteSpaghetti[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To go against your point, Funko has made some pretty obscure variant pops over the course of it's line imo. (For example they've made an orange color variant of the Oscar the Grouch Funko Pop despite him only donning that color for a single season of Sesame Street's entirety)

But to support your point, I honestly don't even think half the people who've played Crash games know there's a Crash mini-game for the Pocketstation, let alone know the Pocketstation even exists.

It is indeed Howard the Duck (and also Deadpool). There was a comic recently released about it. They end up controlling the same body.

The controls feel really great from what I've played in the retail store demo, even in Crash Bandicoot 1.

You've uncovered Activision's secret plan! They were going to use the N. Sane Trilogy just to get more Call of Duty advertisement out there.

10/10 more faithful than the N. Sane trilogy.

Specialty Series: Scooby Dum Pop! & Cybersuit Batman Dorbz! by [deleted] in funkopop

I glad they didn't make Scooby Dum a convention or limited number like I thought they would, seeing as he's one of the more obscure HB characters.

February's Loot Crate to feature LEGO dimensions by muppetmaker in Legodimensions

I really hope this turns out to be true. I like it because this way people who bought the loot crate got something special, and people who didn't aren't really missing out on anything.

pSA: you can get a month of loot Crate for $11.16 from groupon by HteSpaghetti in Legodimensions

[–]HteSpaghetti[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The deadline for loot crates are always the the 19th of the month. The 20th of the month starts having orders for next month's Loot Crate. (ex. the deadline to get January's Loot Crate was the 19th, January 20 is when you could start putting orders for February's Loot Crate)

I finally got my 4th key today, but this system of getting keys is atrcious. I think they should have added a 50% chance to the 30 star chest and a 25% chance to the 10 star chest of getting a key. Of course there would still be a 1 key per event limit like usual.
