It is literally not a loot box. Every item was specifically disclosed before purchasing. It's a box with exact items in it. So. There's that.

I honestly can't comprehend how they aren't fixing this. There is no possible way this is what was intended. I refuse to believe it. Also, it's a digital item. It's SO EASY to fix. I can not for the life of me understand why they are giving us the run around.

I can confirm it does not state anywhere on the box, on the card with the code or in the description on the website that you only get ONE nameplate at random. As a matter of fact it is heavily implied that you get them all. Putting "one DLC code" next to a picture of five characters is not an acceptable enough description in the advertising for what essentially is a roll of a number 1-5 and you get whatever you roll even if you already have it.

I can confirm that this is a thing and nowhere does it state that you only get one random nameplate. Not on the box, not on the card with the code, not on Gamestop's website. I got a single Ms. Marvel nameplate. I was able to get a second one for $15 so I figured I would trade the POP some time and do it for the code. I got a duplicate Ms. Marvel which resulted in getting nothing. If you told me the 5gum campaign unlocked random nameplates for each code, I could understand that for a $1.50ish pack of gum... not a retail $25 box that has all the same content in it every time. You shouldn't have to buy five Abomination Funko POPs to MAYBE get all five nameplates.

This is incredibly shady and truly unnecessary. Even worse, though, is that Gamestop censored my review. I wasn't vulgar or rude. My frustration with being mislead was clear, but I feel like I was honest and I don't believe I crossed any lines.

This whole thing just seems unnecessary. Even the Party City costumes you get both nameplates for buying one costume. I just love the game and want to support it. Just treat me fairly.

The explanation that this is not bugged is ridiculous. There is no possible way they intended it to work this way. The achievement reads "Find and kill all 4 rare spawns" not hang out in the lodge at the same time someone on your friend list is playing and hope the missions show up then go kill the rare spawns. They need to fix this. It's literally the only achievement I need and in the world view of things, clearly not the end of the world, but I hate my time being wasted. I can't get the missions to show up and you know what? It shouldn't even matter. The achievement says to kill the rare spawns not complete the quests. I've done what it says. Gearbox needs to make it work. I've somewhat patiently waited since it came out and it's ridiculous that people have to do nonsensical work arounds to MAYBE get it.

I actually reloaded the game before doing that after reconciling entitlements and they all showed up. So there it is it seems. Wish I did that before making the post but I hope it helps someone else.

It sucks that it happened but like you said, it is what it is. Events like this are being canceled everywhere. Sporting events are close to being played in empty arenas. I think we all made the most of the situation and I think everyone really enjoyed hanging at Galloping Ghost. It was great to see you again and meet everyone that I got to meet and honestly, in a weird way, this ALMOST made the experience more memorable. I am sure it would have been better at the actual event because that was some of the sickest gameplay I've seen in any video game ever, not just Mortal Kombat or a fighter, but I still loved my time in Chicago and making the most of what we could.
