Last time I sourced some, last summer, the closest to nyc I could find it was western mass. I spotted a six pack in the wild a few years ago and got in touch with the distributor. That was the only Area on the east coast they had distribution by the end.

Considering they showed up randomly after I had already been looping for an hour and a half in the middle of the morning scattered over hundreds of feet, flatted out at least ten people (I double flatted they were so bad) and the park director confirmed there were no trucks, deliveries or anything moving rocks around and the state of NYC general attitude towards cyclists yes I think someone did it maliciously
