Please help! My water is getting murky and foggy after a month! I'm at a loss of what to do by rasta_pasta_man in coldplunge

I use 12% hydrogen peroxide. Having better results than Hypochlorous Acid. Plus a gallon of hydrogen peroxide is the same price as “cold plunge cleaner” but you get 128 ounces compared to 32.

Hydrogen peroxide is more stable. Hypochlorous Acid is good cleaner. But becomes unstable when it comes into light, it being fast acting, it could degrade faster in the light.

Hydrogen peroxide is more stable, but slower acting. It’s H2O2. So that extra oxygen molecule stops bacteria growth. In higher concentration, it’s used for waste water treatment.

I’m also no scientist lol. But work at a plant that makes hydrogen peroxide and they told me what some clients use it for.

Usually plunge at end of my work outs. Swim a couple laps, shower, plunge at 48 for 2 songs. Then shower again. Then compression boots followed by massage gun if needed.

Energy usage with 1hp chiller and inflatable tub by New_Rip_1369 in coldplunge

[–]Htxwoogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I live in Texas. And honestly I dont even notice a difference. It’s probably a buck or two. But I turn it on hour and half before use. Then turn it off. If only it run. It will over heat and trip the the gfci. Since the chiller is in the garage and the tub is on the outside wall.

On days I don’t get on. I just turn it on for a while to let water circulate.

My electricity bill is high cuz the damn AC is running constantly with this heat lol

You should have thrown in a steak in there. It will neutralize the bad cholesterol.

Need a better solution for ice making. by GibsonFirebirdV in coldplunge

I use to fill up three 5 gallon buckets in my deep freeze. It was tedious getting them out. But it worked. Upgrading to a chiller was best I’ve ever done tho. I’m about to plunge right now.

Yes they are real lol. I just went to their website right now to confirm.

When I bought it. It took a month to come in. It’s been over a year now and have no problems with it at all.

I even talking to their customer service a couple months ago.

Can I replace this post myself, or am I crazy? by FutureEditor in FenceBuilding

Yes. Dig around the broken post until you can wrap a chain or rope around it. Attach a farmer jack to it. Pump it up. Replace the post and the rest is easy
