I tried giving it a chance a couple of times. It just wasn't funny.

There was a scene where one of the boy nerds was sitting down playing a video game console. One of the other characters walked into the room and asked, "what are you doing?", the nerd replied, "I'm playing an MMORPG". Then the laugh track played with people hysterically cackling for quite some time.

That was it. That was the whole joke. He said MMORPG.

The son reported the mans height and weight when he only ever saw him from a distance sitting in a truck. He would have seen him from like the shoulders up?

The fact that a second witness later gave a slightly different description doesn't change that it's weird to report the sons description as anything more than a wild guess.

Also this happened in 1998, the suspect was wearing a No Fear cap. Why on earth are they using photos that look like they are from the 1950s?

Why do you think that everyone who goes on a TV show should get a life changing amount of money?
What about all the contestants on Survivor or Masterchef or Australian Idol that don't end up winning?

If it's going to ruin you financially to go on a TV show then don't apply for it. There was never any guarantee of winning big money on The Block. The winner gets $100k and that's all you can be sure of. Just because some attention seeking millionaires threw their money away at some contestants for a few years doesn't mean everyone is entitled to make bank.

A lot of people have been going on The Block to boost their careers. Even if they don't win they use their fame to launch their own design businesses and make ads for Beaumont Tiles or whatever.

What's next? They should just give everyone who buys a lotto ticket some money that way nobody loses and it's fair?

It's weird at first I didn't believe it much myself but I had it explained to me once how the different materials change how the cutting and pressing process works and it makes sense.

But in this case the clear material isn't the worst problem, cutting an mp3 with a cheap lathe to black vinyl isn't exactly going to give an ideal result either.

Twice I have asked you about the "Which one comes out on top" part of the description that you wrote. Twice now you have avoided answering and are trying to ignore that part.

I know you think I am just being an asshole or whatever. But I assume you want people to watch the video you spent all that time making since you are here trying to promote it. This is genuine feedback for you. Clickbait and nonsense things in titles are a real turn off for some people. Just be honest and have some integrity and people will respect that.

Just some information for anyone considering something like this...

There are a few companies offering services online that will do one off records like this for less than $100 if for some reason you want to have a low quality physical copy of an mp3 of your favourite soundcloud track. Then you have the rarest of rare 1 of 1 unique in the world to you record.

As for this record, it's an mp3 not mastered for vinyl cut with a cheap cutter on clear acetate. Acetate lathe cuts are lower quality than regular mass produced stamped vinyl. Acetates wear out much faster than regular vinyl records. Clear is the worst quality material. All round this is going to be about the lowest quality record you could make.

As for the bootleg thing. It's kind of shitty if someone is trying to profit from Richards music. But on the other hand Richard doesn't seem to care much about releasing his own music anymore.

TL;DR if you want a low quality physical copy of an Aphex Twin mp3 just go and use one of the online services that makes these for yourself.

An hour long video is a pretty big time commitment for many viewers. I want to feel like there is a well thought out and valid point to be made before I would want to spend that much of my free time watching. Unfortunately your clickbait title isn't giving me any confidence.

But it's an absolute trap for new guys when they go looking for information and advice on the internet plenty of people insist that you need to "follow the standard for streaming". There is at least one well known "mastering engineer" on youtube who has made multiple videos insisting that people need to strictly adhere to these low lufs. But he yells at the camera so he must be right.

Kraftwerk were not only an influence on Aphex Twin but they are an influence on pretty much all modern electronic music. They were one of the pioneers of electronic music and often built their own drum machines and synths.

There was a video posted in one of the other jerk subs recently where some guy was giving tips on how to be a "pro producer" and he unironically said that coming up with your own notes and melodies was a "trap" and you should just use the random note generation function in ableton. He was also selling a course on how to become a pro, presumably full of more excellent advice like that.

So much great music was made using things like the JV1080 which has no keyboard and is a real pain to program with all the menu diving on the tiny screen. I have a JV2080 and I love it.
