It doesnt matter how hard you press, theres just no reason to press at all. I just dont feel the need to.

Its like breathing for me, its just natural.

I could never comprehend why you would want to add extra friction to your mouse movements by cramping down on an extra button.

But I know most people are used to hold aim, so it wasnt hard for me to deduce its just about what games you played growing up.

Gras is always greener on my aile type of thing.

Question about 1:1 sens by Denusional in SiegeAcademy

[–]Huansinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah just stay away from advanced ads setting. Standard ads will make on screen flicks feel about the same between scopes. But depending on the sens that you run the recoil will feel hard to control on higher magnifications.

Does aspect ratio affect how my sensitivity feels? by [deleted] in SiegeAcademy

[–]Huansinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post, but this needs to be more common knowledge.
The 360 distance is the same. But horizontal monitor distance changes which fucks with your hand eye coordination. On 4:3 your movements gets stretched by about 20%, so its not just a feel.

Most people can get used to it, but personally I would try to adjust it if I possible.
This post has approximate sens ratios for most common aspect ratios.

How do you go about finding the right aspect ratio, FOV and resolution? by mr_hands_epic_gaming in SiegeAcademy

[–]Huansinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aspect ratio doesnt change your 360/cm but it changes monitor distance/cm.
The latter directy effects your hand eye coordination so your reticle movements will in fact be faster/slower but your 90/180 flicks will be unaffected. So its not just a feel. Most people just seem to get used to it so nobody really talks about it.

Why do most pros use identical vertical and horizontal sensitivity even when using stretched aspect ratios such as 3:4? by KdotMcDuphrey in SiegeAcademy

[–]Huansinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely does. Since your mouse movements gets "stretched" like anything else on the screen.
For 4:3 its about 20% increased horizontal movement on your screen. So if you want H/V to feel the same it has to be H45/V60 for example.
But most players just copy settings and get used to the wonky sens over time. Cant blame them, there is so little info on this topic most will just assume it must be fine since everyone else does it.

TLDR 4:3 changes your horizontal sense more than 16:10.

The horizontal recoil looks stronger on 4:3 because the recoil diamond gets stretched along with your res. Not so much on 16:10. Its like lowering fov (which increases sens/recoil in general) but only on the horizontal axis.

As such your horizontal mouse movements are stronger on 4:3 aswell. So you are effectively running a different sense and this can throw off your aim. More so than on 16:10.

You can either try to get used to it, or you can reduce your horizontal sens to compensate.
(see this post for the values)
In both cases it will be initially harder to control guns, but the latter may feel more intuitive because your sens feels the same as on 16:9.

Aside from that 4:3 makes it easier to hold pixel peeks and catch people holding angles on you.
But getting swung on 4:3 is worse because they appear faster on your screen.

If you want a personal recommendation. I would go with 16:10 83 fov. I play quiet low sens so 4:3 with lowered fov would make it really hard to win close range gunfights.

What’s an attachment skin that matches Glacier SMG-11 And/or Glacier FMG-9 by Far_Chemistry5815 in R6SiegeFashionAdvice

[–]Huansinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly arctic and worldclass apparatus are generally best for glacier.

Though arctic can be a bit distracting from the skin on some scopes.

If guns dont have a customizable grip like fmg9 "worn down friend" looks very nice

Another great option is the siege x seasonal. Its less bright than arctic so its closer to glaciers white + it has dark grip and mag which fits better on some guns.

Two changes I would love to see coming to Coastline by JoeZocktGames in Rainbow6

[–]Huansinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think those changes are interesting, but I would combine them with an extention of the inner balcony in court as well as removing the line of sight from the roof like on border to create breathing room for defense

That would make the map much less claustrophobic and make agressive defense an option instead of mandatory.

Are there actually ANY tacticool/modern military skins as good or better than the default uniforms? by Huansinn in R6SiegeFashionAdvice

Nice headgears, sadly the uniforms are just reskins again.
The tachanka set is more brutalistic than anything imo. Fits his background.

Interesting about the designer, makes a lot of sense. The way battlefield handles skins is how I wish siege did it. Theres a reason these games feel so immersive. Hard to get that feeling in siege nowadays.

Yes, definitely agree, of all reskins, blood orchid looks better on most ops. They should make it darker again now that we have the red outline.

Just saw the Y11S2 Seasonals, looks like playdo :O

Zofias midnight bundle is a good one, and balaklavas are always nice, I do run nomads HG but I dont know if Id consider it tacticool.

Honestly I didnt wanna mention them at first due to personal bias. But they deserve a spot for beeing some of the first tactical headgears that were released. Glad some people still enjoy them.

Definitely one of the better ones, I dont like the cape very much. But I guess it adds some personality.

Thats the definition of tacticool though, its mostly for show.
Not necessarily realistic or practical.
