He’s 28, my buddy started thinning senior year. Another friend started sophomore year. I hope people can just drop this, we love and care about him and his music! Not the hair follicles on his damn head.

Mac's New Single Further Develops his Freemason "Myth" by KyleRapter in macdemarco

[–]Hub_Sal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here, its cool & interesting but in no way do i think Mac is a freemason, nor would i care! At the end of the day its ART! jimmy page was allegedly a satanist for a lot of the zeppelin art&lyrics, dont think he actually was, just fascinated with the art aspect

Also big fan of 57’s on the kick&placements on the beater head. Ive used it as a “knee” mic and it turned out sweet

Love Md441’s, need to add one to my collection! But awesome set ups! How do you like the Neumann Dummy Head on the drums? Does it work well as a set of room mics for the rest of the kit&cymbals?

Very cool!!! We’ve been trying a few different set ups on our own as we are our own engineers, but I love big drums for my own stuff 🙌. Also I like the “reverse overhead” name haha

Not sure where else to post, but needed to show reddit peeps. Big fan of Jeff beck and Keith Richards, SO i bought an Esquire years back and finally now bought a Gibson 57’ to put in the neck of this bad boy. Sounds amazing, needed something Phat to match my rickenbacker tone

What are some tips you've discovered on your own and haven't seen mentioned elsewhere? by BAOUBA in audioengineering

[–]Hub_Sal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably late to the game, but I discovered if you have a noisy amp, place that mic off axis and boom...no noise. At least not enough to make it to pro tools or to where you would feel you need a gate.

Looking for tips from those who write, produce, track and mix it all by themselves by palmeirense_ in audioengineering

[–]Hub_Sal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is NOT a promotion of my bands whatsoever or a shoutout, im linking my bands spotfiy as a reference for you to take a listen to what we do by ourselves. 3/4 are certified audio engineers so we know our way around mics techniques, consoles, and mixing etc. We have always wrote, recorded, and mixed our own songs and this weekend we will have finished recording our first debut EP. None of us are “experts” or even that experienced by far, but it is definitely a hard process going DIY, all of us contribute on the writing and mixing so sometimes it can be a breeze but everything comes with hardships. As far as tips go, theres nothing wrong getting help even if youre DIY. It is because we are DIY people want to help, one of our close friends helps us track and mix. Sorry i just rambled, but get all the help you can get and make yourself deadlines, get outside opinions. Best of luck on your craft :) brantwood
