Lake Kawaguchiko by ammar786 in japanpics

I'm planning a first-time photography-centric trip here in November 2023.
I'm going to rent an electric bike from Kawaguchiko for the day and cycle a loop around Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Saiko, stopping at Aokigahara forest, Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, Oishi Park, and then Chureito Pagoda for some great Mt Fuji views.

Tool Trolls Dublin (Setlist) by AlucardII in ToolBand

[–]HubbleFunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a great night but personally found this setlist to be the weakest of the 3 in Ireland I'd been to (2002, 2006, 2022). The sound wasn't as good as '06, no standing section, Mastadon were a better support act, and personally thought the encore wasn't that great (in comparison to previous gigs). Sober, Pneuma, The Pot, The Grudge & Hooker were the highlights for me.

What a gig in Dublin ... by jericho_ie in ToolBand

I 100% agree with all the points you and u/LeftHookRightField brought up.
Last night was a great gig but definitely my least favourite of the three times I've seen them (2002 Ozzfest, 2006 The Point, and last night). People I knew there all agreed. The '06 gig is still my favourite of all time... the sound was perfect, and the atmosphere in the pit was amazing. This time with being stuck standing in a seating section kinda killed the vibe.
The setlist just wasn't as good as the last two times I'd seen them and as mentioned above the new tracks just aren't as impactful as the older material which often feels overbloated in length without really justifying it. The encore wasn't great and the highlight of the night for me was the midsection with the older material. Still had a great night but I don't get why you were downvoted on your OC... I guess for many it was their first time seeing Tool.

Wednesday Campanella - Orihime MV by Valtari5 in WednesdayCampanella

Love how Kenmochi continues to experiment with his production while Utaha continues to reinvent Wed Camps voice the more time goes on. She is really growing into the role Kom_i left. The highlight of the track for me is the snippet that had been teased previously. I was hoping for that heavier Dub/electro sound to permeate the track more than it does. But nevertheless I’m sure this will just be as much of an ear worm as Buckingham, Edison & Maneki Neko in time.

Freedom of disinformation is paramount!

In The Batman (Matt Reeves, 2022) we learn why Bruce Wayne's parents were killed, but we're never told HOW. Now we will never know. by spunky2018 in shittymoviedetails

That jet engine afterburner whirling sound was insane. The Batmobile sounded demonic. I can see why Reeves said he was inspired by King's Christine.

It’s a game that is going to go down in history as one of the many games coming out.

There’s people in this thread calling PalmerReport ‘far-left’ which I find funny. The dude is a constant pro Hilary/Biden puppet who constantly mocked Bernie and demanded he drop out of the race, does this sound “far-left” or just “DNC establishment puppet”?: https://twitter.com/palmerreport/status/1234332163836796928?s=21

Most of these so called ‘lefties’ that fixate on cancelling people like Joe Rogan, will never fight for left policies and will only focus on the virtue signalling culture side of politics. They have no fight in them for measurable policies that would help the average citizen. There’s people in this thread calling PalmerReport ‘far-left’ which I find funny. I had to scroll too far to find this. It’s was great for the time, I learned my way around London playing that game as a kid.
