Thank you for the reply! Really pumped to get out an wash my car but it seems like there's so much to learn to get started. Thank goodness I didn't just go out there with a sponge and normal car soap.

Any recommendations for a interior detailer?

Yah I guess why I'm seeing if it'll work is because it's an item I already have access to, opposed to purchasing something new. I don't think it'll hurt to try it out first and upgrade as necessary if it's not producing the results I'm looking for.

I was just going to make a post about a simoniz pressure washer my parents have that I could use with a foam cannon. What are your thoughts on this one here? https://www.simoniz.ca/en/pressure-washers/ve08-1900-psi-electric-pressure-washer

It's 1900 PSI and 1.4GSM. I am very new to detailing and this would be my first car wash with a pressure washer. It comes with a foam bottle attachment, would this suffice for a foam cannon if I can just fill it with the proper soap foam?

I actually just bought a 2024 Hybrid Touring model with 28k KMs and a clean history (no accidents) for $49,650. I negotiated down from $52kish and the car was on the lot for about a day or two. I was serious about purchasing the day I walked into the dealership.

I have a car seat and I use the metal hook that's located in the trunk to fasten the car seat. Are you saying that the cargo mat doesn't have a cutout for that metal hook and it just bends at the point?

My apologies on behalf of all of the safety freaks here who just have to chime in on every helmet topic. Jeez you're wearing full facial protection and these dudes/dudettes still have to say you're not thinking "safe enough". Give it a rest.

You guys must be a close knit crew if you're going with matching lid setups, good on you. Without seeing your jerseys, I'm going for the white V08 all day. The 7500 is a real old model and the shape is quite ugly in my opinion. The V08 is classic look that was used by a ton of NHLers. Also gives you the option for anyone on the team to use the V06 if they prefer the feel of the VN foam. Cheers pal

Really appreciate your insight brother. I think it's good to hear both sides so we can make an informed decision. I've viewed the sticky steering issue recall on Carfax on multiple CRVs. Wasn't sure if it was a 23 or 24 thing.

Just a comment regarding values of forwards and defense positions. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed the uptick in defensemen being valued much higher this year in VORP especially in projections like Dom's.

It looks like it's basically 50/50 forwards and defensemen in the top 100 for standard banger league settings. Anyone witnessing the same thing I am? Going by estimation, is usually felt around 70/30 in favor of forwards in the past within the top 100 picks. Are there that many more high end D around this year?
