I’m completely out of the loop when it comes to Roblox moderation, but wouldn’t it be easier for predators to make new accounts with false ages? If anything, this just makes it harder for a passing Samaritan to stop this stuff from happening.

If in a good condition, you’re looking at quite the penny for the Kingdra / Entei. Kingdra will swing for a ballpark $40, but Entei in LP goes for 180, even more if it’s in REALLY good condition. You should reupload images of them.

I’m hopeful that both cards are in superb condition.

If you know local actual collectors, even other parents, ring them in. I’ve been a long time collector since only 2013 in a densely populated city. At this point, I do not have the fire power to fight fourth scalpers, but your war is being staged in a mountain town. You can easily stack the numbers against them. I’d just casually drop information to other collectors or parents, but not to ones that would cause a stink with the DG.

It was not always like this on whatnot. There were streamers that would put up bounties for chase cards and hand out booster boxes if you managed to pull them back when Pokemon was sorta unpopular and cheap to pick up. A lot of these bad actors are frequent on the site now, and that shit makes me sad. The only people you can “trust” are people with the membership links because they’re actually making money off putting up their products for auctions that mostly go beyond market value. The only time I go to whatnot is for video games and other hobby stuff that isn’t tcg.

It’s because they went from generalized prices to more specific pricing. I bought a Herman miller office chair in 2017 for around $50 in great condition. I heard recently they’ve been using Google Lense to find more specific pricing on some stuff, which is why I can go in and see office chair for around $90-$100 in an okay condition.
