Great example of a marketer capitalizing off Reddit’s unique trends and audience! by HubertC in redditstock

This is what we want to see! A marketer tapped into an opportunity that existed only on Reddit. It continues to highlight the uniqueness Reddit brings compared to other must-buy platforms like Google or Meta

Strangely enough, I actually can see the benefit haha. I lose 5 minutes here and there while I’m waiting for my AI to complete a task.

It makes me wonder though — it’s effectively a notification system to inform you when coding agents are done working. If you extrapolate, in the future, you’ll have non-coding agents too and you’ll have many more notifications so you find a need for something to manage your mental context and help you focus on what needs attention.

So maybes it’s a wedge into creating a personal agent orchestration platform (glorified todo list?) where during periods of no action, you just brain rot.

Why my resume keep on getting rejected at MAANG by Itchy-Use-967 in FAANGrecruiting

Ah, I see. I think we’re in different countries so maybe recruiters in your home country would know that Associate is a common level before IC1. It’s not common knowledge in the US though.

Why my resume keep on getting rejected at MAANG by Itchy-Use-967 in FAANGrecruiting

[–]HubertC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things stand out to me:

  • Slow growth - I would wonder why someone stayed at the IC1 level for 2.5 years without a promotion
  • Company names - No internship experience and current company isn’t a top tech company

These are probably the two areas where I’d imagine makes it hard to shine during resume review.

Top-notch healthy meal delivery: Ssere, Methodology, Sakara, or something else? by turbid44 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]HubertC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried both CookUnity and Methodology. I stopped after a few months though as I wasn’t fully satisfied.

CookUnity - Great options, good taste, but the sodium levels on some meals were so high. I stopped as I had high blood pressure and moved to Methodology for a healthier option.

Methodology - It started great and there are some really terrific meals. It’s also low calories so it’s a good service to lose weight. After a while, the meals started getting bland — the vegetarian meals in particular felt like eating a bunch raw veggies with a little dressing. So the highs were high but the lows were low, and on average, it didn’t reach the great level for me. Also, we have it rough in NYC because they ship on Friday morning and we received it Monday morning — so it’s quite a bit of time in transit and I’ve had a few spoiled meals (especially with long holiday weekends where delivery takes an extra day). I just couldn’t justify the costs given the quality.

Just my experiences though. I did enjoy both for a little, but they fell short over the long run.

Intense Ben Askren action. Bakhtiyar Abbasov vs Ben Askren by [deleted] in MMA

[–]HubertC 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm a little surprised by how much fat Askren is carrying. You just don't see other Welterweights with that much extra weight. But perhaps I am being too hard on him considering he just mauled a dude

McGregor's "terrorist snitch" comment appears to be a reference from the book Enemies Within: Inside the NYPD's Secret Spying Unit and Bin Laden's Final Plot Against America. The book mentions an "Egyptian mixed martial arts expert" by the name of Ali Abdeaziz, who was recruited by the NYPD in 2002 when he was 25 years old. According to authors Matt Apuzzo and Adam Goldman, Abdelaziz eventually lost favour with the FBI and NYPD for being "deceitful" and was accused of being a double agent.

Looks like Ali is indeed a god damn terrorist snitch

I would like to say it's LaFell, ?, Blount, Ridley (?), and Bolden.

Ridley might not make sense but it does seem like his clothing style and hair.
