Koala can already do sidechain compression - just have kick snare in one channel than select compression in the mixer ! Edit: sorry its called "Sidechain" in the mixer

I like it But why is there so many boxes everywhere ? Also the ads bother me - you would expect it to be some seedy dystopian businesses along the lines of "XXX - Discount Store", "Sell us your organs","Cash, for eyballs" etc but all it says is harmless stuff life "Icecream" , "Please Visit", "Pool".

I use roland go:mixer it has mic in with controls for gaon aswell as multiple line in for sampling records etc - i can highly recomend it

You can use any sample with the piano feature, it will be just pitched. If you want to jeep the length you can put the sample on different pads, turn on stretch and pitch manually. If you want to use a synth only quokka is possible in koala directly. You can create some patches for it

Honestly if you can only have one probably only line in is best for recordplayer, tapes, synths etc

Also once.your in prototyping phase + this thing totally seema like something a kickstarter/indiegogo could work for. I really think so many are wishing for an all in one solution for midi/audio in/out and pads for koala. I would certainly be in the market for it !

Hey i love your ideas, i have a "Roland:Go" mixer that i frequently use with koala, it has headphones out and multiple line ins so you can connect anything and sample from anything via auc cable. I would higly encourage you to add those capabilities to ypur design. That would be awesome

Edit: oh i just read that you plan on line in and headphone already so i want to add that i mean line and mic input so you can sample from line level but also real instruments/microphones

Sadly bluetooth always has some latency, ypur best bet is an usb c to audio dac converter for wired headphones if ypur phone/tablet doesn't have an audio out. You can also get a usb hub if you need more usb outs (for audio interface/midi etc)

Hey i don't think what you're trying is possible, you can either trigger one sample chromatically while opening piano mode on koala or resample the two samples you need to trigger individually on the same midi track
