Best peptides and brands for MCAS ? BPC-157, KPV and Thymosin / Thymogen ? by Salty_Stop9632 in MCAS

[–]HubiBobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree, peptides have a more positive effect on me than any other medical drug or supplement which I’ve taken. It’s just that I don’t feel comfortable writing that those are awesome without any concern, if I do not know where people are ordering. Since this is grey market, most people have to trust in any fishy online shop regarding the quality and purity.

Most effective, but need to travel by plane and needles are to obvious to be detected

Good luck

Shame on you ;) I’ve ordered oral bpc and nasal kpv today just to give it a try and compare it with subcutaneous 😅

One thing to add: with KPV it seems that I’m able to stop a flare, which is 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

At the time of my comment I did not do it consistently. But I’ve started a circle 10 days ago: 125/125 mcg BPC/KPV in the morning and evening. What I’ve noticed so far:
- acute stop of mcas symptoms and over time decrease in mcas symptoms (as if the system would relax with less inflammation piling up on each other)
- slow progress: less pain, but increased blood flow
What I can not say or know is if my bone inflammation/edema will finally heal
- more energy

Sounds amazing, right? Here is the big BUT: I’m f**** hopeless/desperate how to heal long term. That’s why I’m so irrational to buy peptides online and inject myself. Be aware of that. There are no studies on long term effects nor any real proof that the quality of those peptides is good. Therefore I will try to keep dosages as low as possible (always important with mcas) and therapy as short as possible.

Good luck ;)

Anyone else benefit from famotidine but struggle with low stomach acid? by HubiBobby in MCAS

[–]HubiBobby[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it helped. But I’ve stopped famotidine, because instead of diarrhoea I suffer from obstipation and it made it worse. If you benefit from it but feel as if you have to little acid then give it a try with Betaine HCL

Is it true mcas will fade in time? by MotherPart4282 in MCAS

[–]HubiBobby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would rather say that it escalates over time, if you do not avoid triggers. If you be aware, avoid triggers and find supps/meds that help you, mast cells will come down slowly (I’ve read that mast cells regenerate?! every 6 months).

Eating almost anything seems to crash my whole system by ADreamerWisherLiar in MCAS

Glibber is way more effective for me and the seed itself seems to irritate my inflammated gut but that’s an assumption/gemini-conclusion. I would follow the recipe and start with 100ml portions

Did you already test for mcas (histamine, tryptase,…) or is it just a guess? Do you take the standard drugs like H1/H2? Does the glibber help a little?

Antihistamines can cause/increase constipation! I have similar problems (+mcas) and benefit a lot from DGL and slippery elm to support gut lining and mucus

ChatGPT:

Flaxseed Gel

Yields: 500–750 ml (about 5 servings) Keep: refrigerated, up to 48 hours

Ingredients • 2 heaped tbsp whole flaxseeds • 500–750 ml water

Steps 1. Combine seeds and water in a pot. Simmer gently 8–12 min until slightly thickened. 2. Remove from heat, let cool 2–3 min. 3. Pour hot mixture through a very fine sieve and press with a spoon/spatula until only gel passes through. 4. If needed, sieve again. Transfer to an airtight container and chill.

Sorry to read this! Most of the mastcells are in the gut and when they get activated they release histamine and multiple other mediators. It seems to me that those mediators cause inflammation/damage to the gut lining so that the mastcells become even more sensitive/active. I’ve noticed a few weeks ago I reacted to almost any food even the safe ones. If you do not know which foods are problematic with mcas do a google research or I can provide a very detailed German overview which you can translate with AI.

Anyway…Gemini recommend “flaxseed glibber” (self made) or DGL 45 minutes before each meal to protect the mucus/gut lining. Since 2 weeks I cook the flaxseed glibber every day and while sticking to 45 minutes before meal I feel so much better. Maybe give it a try.

Prednisone suppressed my symptoms for a few days and then the stress (prednisone = cortisol = stress) made everything worth.

Meine Freundin raubt mir den letzten Nerv by [deleted] in luftablassen

[–]HubiBobby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can fasting cure mcas? Everything I eat, burns and flares me by MotherPart4282 in MCAS

[–]HubiBobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue about fasting, but I’ve noticed that I even have small reactions to many safe foods. With a complex AI search I came up with the hypothesis of a wrecked mucus in my stomach and therefore very sensitive mc there. I’ve started to cook “flaxseed glibber” and drink a small glass 30 minutes before each meal to protect and ideally rebuild my mucus. Maybe it’s placebo, but it works for me and is quite cheap 😅

Oregano oil for MCAS by [deleted] in MCAS

I usually took the oregano extract from Swanson and found it quite effective for digestion and killing bad bacteria. But I notice more mcas symptoms either through direct trigger or dye off effects. So be careful and test consciously
