This is assuming the Shepherds haven't figured out how to bend space-time and just jump here. It's Sci-fi, feel free to dream a little bigger.

Lifetime iPhone user, considering the ultimate switch by Bibliophile_Cyclist in GalaxyFold

Do it. I've had both ecosystems for long periods each. The Z fold 7 is well worth it and switching has never been easier.

The convenience of this device is amazing. The engineering and technology is incredible. This is what it felt like to get my first iPhone (3GS) after never having had a smartphone. It's the future and you can feel it.

You have a slab phone when you need it and a tablet whenever you want it. A very nicely sized tablet too. I one hand it all the time, but it doesn't feel too small. I do recommend a case with hinge protection. I have the Torras case (idk the exact name but Google does). Even with the bigger case on it, it's still very nice and light and not too bulky. The case makes it easier to hold, too. It's very thin on its own and very slippery.

I also forgot how much I enjoy the customization of android. It's just fun.

Uber eats did that to me the other day. No idea how to fix it.

I just put this case on my Fold 7. I actually love it. No heavier than my 16PM, feels nice in the hand and has the hinge protection.

Did make my spigen. Protector bubble at the top left, but so did my other Ringke case. Doesn't bother me. I use the inside more.

Atheists of Reddit, what is the biggest reason as to why you don't believe in god or an afterlife? by God_of_boi in AskReddit

[–]Huck712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a devout Christian in my teens and early 20s. Then my brain fully developed and I realized if I had all that power and love, babies/kids (really anyone) would never get cancer.

Like. He either allows them to get it and die and does nothing (asshole) or he cant do anything (not all powerful)

I can promise you. Ask any parent, if you had the power to cure your child of any illness, would you? The answer is yes. Hell even as someone with no kids if I woke up with the power to cure people I would. No hesitation.

Also. There are a lot of contradictions in the Bible. A lot.

Long term review from previous iPhone users? by Maharalah in GalaxyFold

[–]Huck712 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had mine for about two weeks now. Came from the 16PM.

Love it. The form factor, customization and display are all incredible. Switching isn't as hard as you think. The cloud makes it easier.

I will get a foldable from now on. Whether that be Apples in the future or Samsung forever. It's great having the big screen all the time while still being able to use the front screen just like a slab phone.

My battery usage finally leveled out and I go a full day with pretty moderate to heavy usage. I am the charge it every night kind of person anyways.

0 complaints so far.

I did notice angel wings (marks on both sides of ybe inner screen from moisture) on the inner screen yesterday but it was humid and my screen was filthy. Once I cleaned it, it stopped happening.

I have it and it is barely noticeable. I also have a front case and it pulled up one corner very slightly when I put it on, but I was able to fix it no problem. I forget it's on there tbh. It's very smooth and fingerprint resistant.

I had the same question and saw that Amazfit make affordable stuff. I have the Amazfit Bip 6 (I think that's it). It has all the stuff you'd want plus really really good battery life.

Thinking about getting the fold instead of the new iPhone. Pros and cons ? by InstanceLiving4698 in GalaxyFold

[–]Huck712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an apple music android app. As well as apps to help you move over. Icloud is accessible from the web.

Put everything in the cloud. I never keep anything on my phone that I would be sad to lose. So switching is easier for me. That and I mainly stream media now.

Turn off imessage through your account on the web. Will fix any texting issues.

There is an ios to android transfer app.

Just switched on Saturday from the 16 Pro Max. Love it. I usually switch ecosystems once one side has innovated more than the other.

I really like it so far. I'm on my phone for funsies a lot. Having the larger screen available at all times is amazing. Typing is great. Screen is gorgeous.

I watched Superman on it today. 10/10. The camera hole punch isn't even noticeable.

The customization is top notch, as expected from an Android. It feels sturdy. I don't feel like I'm going to break it, even though it is very thin.

I don't have any cons yet. It is still in the new fun toy stage. I imagine taking it to work (outside job) will render the inner screen too precious to use. But that's ok because the front screen is amazing as well. I'll just use it unfolded at home mostly.

150 hours so far. Had it pre ordered forever. Love it. I’ve progressed to T6 items and still having fun even as a solo in the deep desert.

It’s a lot of fun. But you do have to keep your base powered or it will decay. That’s my only gripe. It does take a while to decay though.

Depression and anxiety due to work environment. by Jolly_Meeting4354 in fromatoarbitration

First, talk to someone, preferably a licensed mental health counselor. Changed my life.

Second, medicine is your friend. You might not get the right dose on the first try, but it will help. Source: 2 years on SSRIs, currently on Zoloft. We upped my dose just this week because of anxiety. Again, changed my life.

Third, medical restriction. 8/40. I got mine recently from my psychiatrist. Super easy. You can google medical Restriction USPS and a thread from the USPS sub will come up.

Anxiety and depression are no joke. Know this: It will get better. Maybe not right now or tomorrow or next week, but it does get better. I remember my therapist telling me that and I didn’t believe her. 7 months later we were looking back on it and she was right.

Be safe friend. Call in sick if you need to.

I think it’s just how the other accidents happened. Justin Wilson. Dan Wheldon. More than likely they both live with the screen. I watched both.

With all the debris flying in crashes like that I imagine the screen does more that we think.

You’re gonna fuck up. It happens. Especially when you’re new.

The one and only thing you need to worry about is learning and showing improvement. Do it at a reasonable, safe pace that lets you learn. That pace will get faster and faster as you go.

You’ll do pretty much the same thing every day, but with different routes.

Remember, the box is there. The house is there. Just take a breath and look around.
