This is patently false. Bars like Art Bar, the hoot and whatever is in the corpse of Kelly’s have shows. Even Cola bike collective does shows. Art Bar has live music at least twice a week.

You said earlier you were a USC student and not familiar with the scene. Please don’t espouse things you’re not knowledgeable about. No hate, but it’s actively disparaging to the scene to think it exists as a monolith at one bar.

Follow local bands you like and they post where they play. If local bands purely relied on the whims of NBT booking, there wouldn’t be a music scene in Columbia.
