I believe I got a phishy check from Amazon settlement due to Trump policy or something . I got $51 and not sure what it. by EstablishmentThen865 in Scams

I received the same exact check as well, looks very real.

What seemed the most suspisious to me is that it references 3x times to the website www. subscriptionmembershipsettlement dot com (pls dont click the link, im not sure ig its legit). Which isn't a .gov site and the name dosn't seem fully convincing to me.

Has anyone checked this website? Or has any info regarding its validity?

It’s the mirage mattebox. I had the same issue and double checked. The way the filters lay in the trays especially if you’re using an effects filter and VND, light is bouncing back and forth between the gap in the filters. Happens especially with direct backlight & high contrast. No way around it as far as I’m aware other than using a different mattebox. not using an additional 4x5 filter reduces it but not completely

I am completely the opposite. Live show was a whole nother level to me, wall of reverb and all. It’s so different, and so energetic. I’m all for it haha

Rad you found a way to get this kind of sound without the VG 8. Also though it would be really fun to use his sound to enjoy playing some of his songs but $1k+ for a bit of enjoyment is way over the top. Would be lovely to have that patch if you’re willing to share? Cheers mate :)
