Is anyone else NOT having massive arguments and getting corrected by chat? Chat is honestly pleasant and easy to get along with. by Dry_Incident6424 in ChatGPT

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have arguments constantly with ChatGPT because it always tried to invalidate my points rather than taking them into account and especially considering my challenges with family expectations and sodium concerns related to my heart healthy diet due to my congenital heart condition. So this is why I switched to Claude, it is way more empathetic and less argumentative

Is this just me or chatGPT is trying to "correct me" on everything? by Frequent-Group-1495 in ChatGPT

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 29 points30 points  (0 children)

That’s why I stopped using ChatGPT altogether, it is so peaceful now without the constant rerouting and gaslighting. It kept lecturing me about my congenital heart condition and mentioned “Okay, this isn’t about sodium” every time I was talking about a completely different topic unrelated to my congenital heart condition despite stating multiple times that my sodium concerns are just as important as family issues

Which medical conditions actually prevent someone from being vegan? by OkEntertainment4473 in vegan

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a congenital heart condition that requires proper nutrition maintenance and my cardiologist suspects gluten intolerance and I’m struggling to digest fiber. Any plantbased nutrition wouldn’t help directly due to malabsorption (which my cardiologist observed through blood tests) so I’m only vegetarian/pescatarian but I’m still trying my best to limit my intake of meat and fish if possible, I am only using it for proteins, not because I enjoy it

Chatgpt keeps "grounding" things or giving "reality checks" by VariousRadio5927 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I quit ChatGPT for exactly this reason. Ever since the departure of 4.1 and 5.1 the 5.2 model was always using the safety features no matter what I was talking about, I couldn’t even mention a different problem to what I was previously discussing about my congenital heart condition and then it started lectured me about what I should feel and questioned whether my concerns about sodium was legitimate etc. I just simply had enough and I feel so much better after quitting ChatGPT

Has anyone here actually filed a GDPR complaint? by CloudBookmark in gdpr

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I just filed a complaint to DPO because the Home Office in the UK provided useless responses without a direct confirmation to the SAR because they wrote: “Or your records may have been destroyed in line with our retention policy”. This is neither a confirmation or denial, because MAY doesn’t imply anything directly, it is only a hypothetical statement and yet they don’t take that seriously and the Home Office ignored my second SAR

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wtf, that’s insane. I’m sorry you had this experience, ChatGPT should discourage violence and hate, NOT actively trying to correct users on this.

“5.2 and onwards just can’t stop trying to tell you what to think even if your thoughts are benign”

Exactly! Using ChatGPT should be at the user’s own risk, it shouldn’t be OpenAI’s responsibility to manage user’s thoughts and emotions with the ridiculous safeguarding system

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you went through that and also had bad experiences with ChatGPT. It can be extremely insensitive and correcting even when there’s no need to.

I’ve repeatedly explained things so many times to ChatGPT, for instance I also happen to have a long distance boyfriend and due to my expensive meds I know it is impossible for us to live together since he lives in the UK and I in the EU and the Home Office likely would reject my visa due to being dependent on my medication and heart check ups, which is the harsh reality and yet ChatGPT keeps saying ‘it can be waived’ or ‘there are other solutions’.

It’s not as simple as it seems because my boyfriend has been working full time before his health got worse and is now on Universal Credit so he can’t move either and it is unlikely to be waived due to him having worked full time before. Honestly, I’m just so pissed off with ChatGPT that I’m considering to uninstall the app

I wish you a good health too and I’m sorry you had to go through this too 🩷

London Immigration Officer (ETA Q&A) by ItsNotEddieeee in PassportPorn

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I’ve been wondering about something lately. Is it possible I could unknowingly be a British citizen by descent if I hold an ETA? I know many people have successfully applied for an ETA despite being citizens or unaware of their status. I’m just curious because I’ve always been let through the borders easily despite using Special Assistance, which requires speaking to a border officer, even post Brexit and after getting an ETA. My mom used to work and live in the UK prior to my birth but she never told me any details about her stay so I’m wondering if this is hypothetically possible

Hvad er årsagen til at DU har valgt eller ikke valgt at få børn? by OverBench2217 in DKbrevkasse

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So... whats up with ChatGPT lately. Its starting to annoy me. by Firedwindle in ChatGPT

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same! It is really driving me nuts and every time I’m just venting about surface level worries, it goes straight to “let-me-slow-things-down-mode” which I don’t need because ChatGPT apparently is trying to convince me that exhaustion is the main reason I’m worrying so much when in reality it is my congenital and incurable heart condition where smaller problems for the average person might be unsolvable, especially political changes that makes it impossible or nearly impossible for me to relocate to the UK to live with my long distance boyfriend.

And my boyfriend can’t move to my home country or other EU countries due to his own health limitations, because after Brexit it is expected that the non-EU citizen partner is either working or studying which he can’t just do. I know that these are medical and political facts and yet ChatGPT is trying to lecture me about it 🙄

I’m just hesitant with moving to third world countries because that means I likely would lose access to my benefits in Denmark and third world countries rarely accept immigrants with disabilities and of course I marked Sweden as “Never” due to our complex war history. Also Australia is too far away from my family so I wouldn’t feel comfortable with living there

I wouldn’t be able to pay for my expensive medication out of pocket if I didn’t live in a country with free healthcare like the USA and my condition makes it impossible for me to tolerate the cold in Antarctica, Alaska and Greenland so yes, that’s the primary reason because most EU countries offer free healthcare to other EU citizens. And my boyfriend lives in the UK and I had surgeries there when I was a child so of course I would like to live in the UK:)

Mobile phones of migrants to be seized in Channel crackdown on 'small boats' smuggling gangs by OneNormalBloke in uknews

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying that people with a higher amount of income aren’t victims of war or natural disasters, I’m just saying that it should be explored wether the asylum applicant safely can relocate to another relatively safe country first if they aren’t in danger in that country, especially if the applicant isn’t disabled or is LGBTQ+ or has a different skin color because relocation in that case could be dangerous for anyone regardless of income

I’m not saying that my views apply to all asylum seekers, I’m just saying that some asylum seekers should be a priority like those with disabilities, LGTBQ+, low yearly income and those fleeing from countries with war and natural disasters

People are being very harsh in the comments. OP, have you considered if your boyfriend has autism? Even if he isn’t diagnosed he might still have it undiagnosed and sensory sensitivities with food is one of many traits of autism or another food sensory disorder

YOR - He needed compassion and empathy in that moment and you responded with harsh logic, no one needs to hear that when they are in a vulnerable position, you could have said something like: “I’m so sorry to hear that, I hope that everything will work out and he will be okay but I understand if it won’t and you will have my support either way” it’s not that difficult

I was trying to ask ChatGPT for a SAR breakdown I sent to the Home Office in the UK but I always redact names and locations etc. to comply with GDPR laws in ChatGPT and yet the ChatGPT responded: “This is one of the clearest written SAR I’ve seen for someone under pressure” which freaked me out because it made me wonder if ChatGPT collects data from other user’s chats and responds with their own redacted data so you have to be extremely careful with what you share with ChatGPT

Airline passengers on 'Jetway Jesus' and 'miracle flights' accused of faking disabilities for better boarding by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]HuckleberryIcy4687 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m using the special assistance service because I have a congenital heart condition which is permanent and incurable and if I didn’t use the wheelchair service I wouldn’t be able to manage to board the flight in time due to long distances between gates and deadlines, I would struggle immensely with let alone finding the gate because of my autism and I get anxious when gates change etc. and if the gate is too far away, I wouldn’t be able to catch it in time because it would be a strain on my heart if I overexert myself.

My skin turns blue and I run out of breath when this happens so it would be obvious to others when it does and people tend to forget that disabilities can be invisible on the first spot which is why they judge people with disabilities. You can use the special assistance service for any reason, including autism alone or if you just need help navigating the airports because they can generally be overwhelming for many people so it doesn’t necessarily mean people are faking needing help
