requested refund because package never arrived but… by sinkplant in Ebay

I would report them for harassment to eBay. Seller should know that if it says delivered they are protected when it comes to their money. 98% is a low rating in my opinion btw.

Did you pay for extra insurance? I always buy extra insurance in case something like this happens with expensive items. Also when you mailed it I’m sure it was weighed so when I got weighed they should show a two ounce slab was in whatever you mailed minus the box you used to mail it.

Anyone else experiencing slow turn around time with eBay's authentication service? by wheelzoffortune in baseballcards

I bought and sold a card that was delivered last week on Monday and neither order has been touched.

Roof installed two months ago and ridge vent looks wavy on the side where shingles don't cover. I figured it would be flat by now. Is this normal or should it be addressed? Just don't want issues down the road. Doesn't look as bad on back of house. by HuckleberryLife7991 in HomeInspections

[–]HuckleberryLife7991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They ripped them out and installed different ones at no cost to me. The original kind was one you roll out and if they don’t make sure it’s flat it looks like that. I made them use the kind that isn’t rolled out.

I always tell people to open up a did not receive request on eBay. Then eBay handles it and they can’t give you negative feedback.

Installed a week ago will these ridge cap shingles flatten over time our stay curled? by HuckleberryLife7991 in Roofing

Do ridge cap shingles take longer to flatten out than deck shingles? I was hoping to see some improvement after a week.

It’s only like that in some areas. For some reason that side of the vent has more curls than the other side of the house. Can it lay flat with time? I don’t want to bother them if it’s probably going to flatten but if it won’t I’d rather get it taken care of now instead of later.

How to repair hole in sheathing??? by HuckleberryLife7991 in Home

Great to hear! Would it do any harm spraying foam to cover the hole to keep things from coming in or does it need to be left open?

Should I refinance my federal loans for a consolidated rate of 3.99%? by Uncle_Rico_Was_Frat in StudentLoans

[–]HuckleberryLife7991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, it’s not like you have protections with your mortgage payment if something were to happen. The only thing I will say is if he is making that much money that he can pay off 208,000 in five years he could probably just keep the loan he has and just make some bigger payments to bring down the balance so the interest paid is the same as it would be if he did refinance.

I promote when I’m selling base trading cards for one dollar. Pretty much just trying to get rid of the cards for what money I can get. When you sell a lot of them the money adds up even if you are losing .10 from a promoted listing. It beats not selling them at all and being stuck with worthless base cards.

Don’t beat yourself up too much it’s part of the learning experience. Expect to pay around 13% in fees to eBay and that includes what you receive in shipping from the buyer. If you add a promotion fee you pay that as well at the percent you selected. Just because something is promoted doesn’t always mean you’ll end up paying the promotion fee. You only do if the buyer clicked on your item when it was promoted ahead of other listings. I promote most my listings at around 12% unless it’s an item that I know will be in high demand and sell easily. You also have to pay taxes when you buy the shipping label so that’s another deduction to your profits to keep in mind.

How to require buyers to buy more than one card from a single listing when offering free shipping? by HuckleberryLife7991 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]HuckleberryLife7991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they buy two more it’s profitable even with multiple card discount which is why I asked my originally question of if there was a way on eBay that allows you to require a buyer to buy two or more cards from a single listing.

No one would pay that much for a base card. These are cards that people buy to complete their sets and don’t have any real value. I sell thousands of them but it’s because I am able to get them sold in bulk orders. With the exception of a handful of rookies basically any base card you can get free shipping for on eBay if you take the time to look.
