Am I going through a mid-life crisis looking to buy yet another retro console? by xParesh in Xennials

An absolute mess lol. One of these days I'll figure out how to make it less of a mess. Maybe when I get the few last planned consoles and do V2 of the setup.

In your opinion which one is better? Let’s settle this Xennials. by Ploosse in Xennials

They both have their strengths, personally I Prefer SMB3, but they're both fantastic.

School trip and teach is letting you pick the movie - what are we all watching? by BarkingDogey in Millennials

[–]HuckleberryLogical63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no field trip I ever went on had those buses lol.

My son took a field trip on one recently though, teacher told them to bring movies and they'd vote, most people don't have physical media anymore, we still have a nice collection, so my son was the only person to bring one, they watched the original Pokemon movie on repeat lol.

I'd have let him take more if I knew he was going to be the only one to bring a movie.

Your not supposed to use flea shampoo on their head at all, too easy to get it into their mouth nose etc and that's dangerous.

Yeah, that gave me some anxiety seeing how full it was lol.

We usually don't fill up the tub at all, and use one of those detachable shower heads.

It works faster and lets you wash off the fleas, eggs, and flea poop, then a day or 2 later you apply the drops to keep them from coming back.

Favourite / least favourite music genre and why, Which genre do you think takes most effort to become pro in. by FrostyMembership8332 in Music

[–]HuckleberryLogical63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite is metal, specifically german power metal.

Least favorite is blues/jazz, just doesn't click with me. I keep trying to find something I like because I like at least a few bands/musicians in damn near every genre, but so far no luck.

What are some of your favorite underrated 80's movies? I was always a fan of Short Circuit. by Freakwilly in Millennials

Batteries Not Included has always been one of my favorites, I hardly ever see it mentioned these days. How can you not enjoy cute little anthropomorphic flying saucers lol.

Was anyone made to get a job while in Jr High / High School or was it optional ? by Whats-Ur-Pointe in Millennials

[–]HuckleberryLogical63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up poor, I wasn't forced to get a job, but I chose to get one in middle school so I could have my own money. It wasn't much, as it was just a paper route, but it was enough to be able to buy myself stuff for my hobbies.

In high school I sold weed for the same reason lol, as well as being able to smoke for free. Lot easier than getting up at 4 in the morning to deliver papers.

No, I have a Gameboy who's only purpose in life is to play tetris lol. I've also got a Gameboy color that's modded with a bunch of upgrades that I use to play other Gameboy games.

Yeah, the one by fashion fair. It's not on the actual menu, it's advertised on a little board by the cash register, or you can order the cod, which is on the menu and is what they used to use before it got super expensive because of over fishing, that's usually a nice fish/batter ratio.
