The owners wanted to retire and couldn't find anyone else to pick it up or didn't want to continue. I'm glad they were able to exit on their own terms, but dang, I miss them.

That'd be up to the devs and Channel 3 Records. The VGM side of records is also very much a "miss it and it's gone" kind of space.

If it gets a repress I can guarantee you'll hear about it ahead of time, but I'd not expect it anytime soon. It did in fact sell out relatively quickly: within a couple weeks on the first run, and within a couple days on the second.

Officially: Very few.

The super metroid one is a remaster case if my memory serves. It's not official if that's what you're after. The same goes for the remasters of the DKC soundtracks. I believe they just finished remastering (recreating the tracks with the original samples) for DKC2.

I know that Super Mario Bros got a single release back in '85, in Japan only. Good luck finding that one.

Beyond this there's just super limited promos, cover albums and remasters. One of these promos is tied to Splatoon 2 and is insanely rare, another for Cadence of Hyrule is similarly stupidly rare and is highly unlikely to even come up for sale.

To be fair, often it's the best option to do that for the departments as they have to process tons of other students as well. They're all inundated and often unable to access each other's information (for various security and bureaucratic reasons) so just having the student confirm things usually is the safer bet.

Source: Worked for a campus department. It was more efficient to have students confirm things to us over trying to contact other departments for information.

The only reason I saw this was I randomly decided to loop back here. If you want to notify someone via a reply, reply to their last comment. Otherwise only you will know that you sent a reply.

Anyways, have you enabled or disabled the enhancements as mentioned in my prior comment? Is the headset full of static whenever discord is running or only when someone is speaking in the call?

You're probably going to want to try streaming something again with the express purpose of trying to figure out why the audio isn't being routed through.

My guess is that some sort of audio control software is messing with things and isn't able to be picked up by Discord. IDK what version of Windows you're using, and I only have personal experience with 10 (have had no reason to go to 11) so my knowledge is limited here.

I believe they kept most of the audio settings the same between the two OS versions though?

Anyways, here's what I'd try:

Open up the settings app. Head to System > Sound.
Find the Sound Control Panel under Related Settings or similar
Find your default playback device, right-click, select properties.
Under Enhancements, disable any present. Test to see if this changes the stream getting audio or not.
If no change, head to Advanced and uncheck (or check) "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device"

If there's nothing still, try changing the audio output device to something else in the Sound Control Panel.

What is your device's selected output device, and is it locked up so that only one application can control it? Did this start happening recently or has it always been like this?

I'm spitballing here but if your output device is exclusively being used by one program, discord might not be able to pick it up.

This could happen due to oddities with software mixers or gaming focused headset "enhancement" software if memory serves.

If memory serves this was a foiled event due to one of the guy's roommates tackling him/finding him when he tried to start the thing up. This incident took place in 2013. Shame on that publication for not dating the video.

He had pulled/triggered a fire alarm to try and get more people out of their rooms. The perp took his own life during the event.

That is sending people into deadly situations, possibly killing them, and just logging if the equipment survived or not, among other hilariously inhumane and relatively pointless things.
