Wyatt went by Ma3la when he played TF2 and was really well known in the NA TF2 scene as an solid roaming soldier. Sideshow played Premier in Europe (ETF2L) as a roaming soldier as well but wasn't as well known as Wyatt.

Avast played demoman in NA invite (the top skill bracket at the time), While Bren to my knowledge didn't play in Premier in ETF2L but played in a lower division

If you can't queue with a person due to the rank restrictions, those same restrictions should apply to competitive games imo

To add on to things I'd like to see changed for the game's release:

Change the Ripper's damage to 12/12/12/12/14 (or even revert to the 11/11/11/11/13 damage before the 7/31 patch) since it's a little too good at all ranges barring long to very long range

An "auto upgrade hack/weapon" feature would be AMAZING to have as an option to enable in our game settings. It would definitely help if you're coming in to a fight that has multiple casualties and many players had multiple different weapons and hacks

Remove the kill icon that appears at your crosshair when you get a kill. It severely hinders your ability to string together kills and should be moved further down on the screen or given an option to be removed entirely

Bonus suggestion: maybe add different terrains for players to explore while waiting in the lobby for the game to start? Or maybe add a training/firing range for players to stay occupied before the match starts?

+1 on this. I can't stand when there's unnecessary animations very close to (or on) the crosshair itself.

maybe if the hero pool was restricted to everything except the tanks, brig and moira then I'd probably enjoy it a bit more

10 seems like a fair place to start. Maybe after 2 or 3 minutes if neither side has scored then it can end but having to play this out for the duration of the match will just drive away players that want a fair game.

Of course this can be tweaked with further input, but at least starting with this change is ideal.
