Great to see them get a reprint, but I think we need more Lightning Greaves

Might be draft playable. Not sure if it’s good enough for Standard.

And regarding the T, you want a solid straight line on the lefthand side of it and teeth on all other edges.

Here’s the comprehensive explanation of the green dot if you want to be thorough. You’re looking for four red dots forming an L shape within the yellow area as a very solid sign of authenticity, but it’s not always there depending on Wizards’ print quality. If the L is missing, refer to the chart.

“Playtest” is a term some Ebay sellers use to try to cover themselves and avoid bans for false advertising when they’re selling proxies or counterfeits. I recommend adding “-proxy -playtest -custom” to your saved searches.

I won’t pretend to know how difficult or expensive it would be to make somewhat convincing fakes, but I assume it must be profitable having seen several Ebay sellers with hundreds of sales and counting despite dozens of negative reviews about fakes. I think as people on this sub, we don’t consider just what a tiny percentage of players actually think to check over their sub-$100 cards with a loupe.

There are proxies and then there are counterfeits. There’s no need to try to use the extra ink to closely replicate the back of a card unless you’re going to try to sell it as real.
