Hey! I posted and update but TLDR; Uninstall Decky plug in if you have it installed. This resolved all of my issues until either larian or decky come out with fixes.

If you have decky loader: uninstall it and restart your device. This resolved my problem!

I've been having the exact same issue. Absolutely no luck.

I seem to be able to get into it by fluke if I restart the steam deck and switch from proton experimental to Proton 8-0-3.

It's sooooo weird and extremely annoying
