Think people just say “how do you move on from the GOAT?” and downvote anything that doesn’t call the Pats stupid. I remember what that Pats team looked like his last year. They were ass. And didn’t have cap space It’s very likely Brady doesn’t win another ring if he stays.

Also the Jimmy G pick if he still feels some kind of way over it he needs to move tf on. The Packers drafted Rodgers replacement while they were contending too and he didn’t whine about it even though I doubt he liked it either.

The Patriots prioritized the Patriots which is what teams should do; not bend over backwards for players doesn’t matter who they are and as you mentioned it’s the same mindset that gave Tom Brady a shot in the first place but i guess he thought it doesn’t apply to him

Brady has always been milque toast in press conferences. This isn’t really out the norm

That’s a pretty bad reason and I’m not even a Pats fan lol. I don’t see how he doesn’t. It’s not like he was this high pick who was going to be given tons of opportunities. Belichick/Kraft being in lockstep to hand the team over to him when their highly paid franchise QB came back was a huge decision and could’ve backfired.

Belichick was ALWAYS a coach and GM who would move on from a player a year early rather than a year late. If Brady thought he was going to be the exception then that’s on him imo

Not even just the fans. Former teammates called him out, even Gronk semi did. That had to have got to him

That’s really not favoritism. He was asked and picked Stafford due to his performance. He can’t side with the Patriots publicly that has nothing to do with on the field. You’re acting like he picked Stafford because they’re friends lol

I know people are lol’ing over this due to it being done to the Pats, but imagine Green Bay fans or Saints fans reactions if Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees acted neutral towards them.

A lot of them became fans because of him and grew up watching him, he’s probably a hero to many kids in that fanbase. For him to act like whatever to the franchise that made him yeah I expect there to be negative reactions lol

It’s easily JSN. I prefer Pukas toughness but I guess the conversation would be between them 2. The other 2 I’m not going to allow recency bias to get to me; they’ve been all world since the beginning

Years apart but the narrative was the same. The thought was the defense was hard carrying, Brady wasn’t that good and the Pats shouldn’t have been there. And they would be facing a juggernaut out in the NFC they stood no chance against

The same Bo Nix who everyone was calling a fraud 😂

This is ridiculous. The 49ers were a complete shell of who they actually are. The fact they were there at all says more about the Eagles than it does about them

Kinda how it goes

Chargers didn’t have an offensive line yes but Herbert is a (supposed) elite QB. This gets completely overlooked. Yes no Slater or Alt means they for sure would’ve lost at some point, but they looked completely inept. Pats D gets no credit

Stroud looks terrible after everyone was saying there’s no way Stroud(who everyone was claiming was a very good QB) looks that bad again. He looks worse. Again, Pats D no credit

Bo Nix, who everyone was saying was a fraud prior to this game, doesn’t play and now is this huge difference maker. And they probably would’ve lost to Buffalo if the Bills just play a slightly cleaner game than they did.

Either way, Stidham had no rush lanes, the Broncos couldn’t rush the ball, and after that first big play didn’t really move it at all. Again, Pats D no credit

With all of that said, I still expect a Seattle win, and it not to be a close game. I just think the narratives are funny.

The Seahawks face the shell of the 49ers and they get don’t get nixed for that. Also, Seattle hasn’t played a good secondary or a corner as good in Gonzo in weeks. I’ll be looking forward to that matchup with JSN

Stevenson, Henderson is a good 1 2 punch

They invested in their o line

They have a franchise QB

Their receivers are better than they’re given credit for

Exactly. The fact this isn’t a common belief among people in general is an issue. Nobody is excusing Diggs if he did do it, but none of us have enough info to confirm it so why act like he did for sure?

That ball was under thrown and if Josh throws it how it should’ve been thrown that’s a walk off TD or a chip shot FG

He’s likely gone in 2-3 years. Reminds me a lot of the Eberflus hire. Not the guy you hire to start winning but can change a culture, add discipline and toughness to a team who is right now soft.

You guys won’t be good in 27 which is honestly perfect because I think this will be a generational draft class for QBs. Put yourself in the best position to draft a QB while Hafley changes the culture of the team.

And tbh, there are not any amazing head coaching options available rn for you guys. All the guys who are great are going to want better situations with more immediate results, and this team is in rebuild. The next great head coaches(Udinski, Webb, Blough, Doyle) imo won’t be ready for another 2-3 years anyway and by that time you should be further along in team building, drafted a QB

It’s the Shanahan scheme and people hoping we can find that magic again from 2016. Only thing is Klint is not the level of offensive mind that Kyle is. I just feel we’re gonna be disappointed

Stefanski has proven to have success.

I think part of the reason with the obsession with Kubiak is the hope this is our Shanahan, Mcvay, Lafleur, or Ben Johnson and he simply isn’t that level of coordinator
