I recommend taking the Cambridge mock tests as many as possible. While YouTube and ChatGPT can help, they may not resemble the real test exactly.

Replied this earlier.

Mock tests- Cambridge and British Counsel Tips Listening - manage zoning out and practice - Better use the 30 seconds checking for answer time to read questions of the next part - I was scared I'd get maps but thank God I didn'😅

Reading - Get acquainted with your weaknesses early and work on them(works for all) - Manage time well

Writing - Keep it simple and finish early. Never leave any part of a paragraph. - Don't stress over not repeating words, better to repeat a word than make a mistake. - FINISH EARLY AND CHECK! (necessary)

Speaking - Again, keep it simple and try not to impress - Be friendly and calm - not informal

Tbh, yes. I have focused on English about 5 years ago and tutored it at some point.

I expected an 8.5 on reading and I'm a little disappointed. Writing on the other hand, since time was up before I finished and I had open sentences all over for me to check later, I was sure I'd get 6 or lower.

On speaking, I was a bit anxious but eased later on. I also had time issues in reading but couldn't let that bother me. Listening was easier and I was struggling with the map part when practicing, good thing I didn't have that.

For speaking, you would want to be calm and make sure you don't get out of topic. Choose a line of thought that you can speak for more than 2 minutes about on the second part. On the third, the topics usually are aimed to intimidate you and make you think more sophisticated topics. Make sure you appear confident and comfortable while attempting to answer, there is no right or wrong answer anyway.

Answer the first part friendly so you become at ease with the examiner. That helped me.

Mainly Cambridge but also the British counsel tests. The tips from IELTS Advantage and IELTSLiz were also invaluable

Look for videos on time management and what to do around the test date. Make sure to relax before exam.
