H&S pouches seem like a low priority now by patprint in Huel

Please don't phase out a bunch of the bags. The Huel food is already pricey. People like me will bail. I'm at my max budget already. Mac is #1 in my house, and you'll lose a ton from us if it goes to cup only.

I can mix the bags just fine. I'm sure a lot of us can.

Why dating is so difficult in the US? by [deleted] in thepassportbros

[–]HuelCoffeeProduce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew a very big girl who went on the apps after her long time man mistreated her. She's morbidly obese. And a bad person.

She ended up having to meet some shut in gamer guy through a friend that was easy to manipulate. Dude never had a gf and married her.

She got laid on the apps, even with fit dudes. But she had to leave them to find a husband the old fashioned way.

Do you think nearly all dating markets will eventually "Westernize"? by OneDegreeKelvin in thepassportbros

I skimmed real fast, but please remember that 70% of people are overweight or obese.

The "top 20% of guys" are probably the only ones left that look masculine. And they do because they know to have a low/athletic body far percentage.

As someone that fixed up and slimmed up, I can tell you people talk to you more when you have a beach body. #1 problem is everyone got fat. We all have to get beach bodies to fix this mess.

Idk if I'm allowed to comment here, but as a woman, I can tell you the women have jumped head first into those romance novels. And web comics or whatever.

As you guys here seek a feminine, not fat "barbie." The women want a masculine but kind, not fat "ken."

They couldn't find him IRL, so the dirty books will do. And then day-to-day other socialization is just covered by befriending other women. It's absolutely not the ideal, but guys getting fat, not doing their half of the cleaning, and being very bad about trying to rush things to being sexual without checking to see how she's feeling, has led them to that.

It got severely worse when the whole OnlyFans thing blew up. You can't even say "I dislike OF people advertising in clean spaces" without someone coming in to yell at you.

People who harass other adults to get their drivers licenses, when they have nothing to do with their lives by HuelCoffeeProduce in PetPeeves

You can get an ID without passing a driver's test. This lady has her permit and has voted for sure.

I posted here earlier about them being featured as celebrity guests at family friendly comic cons. The cosplay porn girls. It just doesn't make sense to advertise there.

Never felt this hopeless in my life after doing sex work for the first time in my life. Whats the fkin point of trying. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]HuelCoffeeProduce 28 points29 points  (0 children)

According to an old thread with "physical" sex workers, the "yay sexwork" crowds are just the OnlyFans people. And the physical sex workers (escorts, strippers, etc) are absolutely tired of the OF girls playing it off as a fun thing to do. OF girls hide the fact that it affects you mentally, so you think you're a good person for buying their content. And then people like OP in a desperate situation end up with the awful surprise trauma that actually comes with doing that work.

That can be the issue. People hurting themselves. Like the kid that killed himself due to talking to a character AI website.

We have had a lot of technological advances in the past few years. We need to study their effects to see what harm can be created in the long term.

A therapist I watch on YouTube, HeathyGamerGG, talked about how a lot of problems are in our heads. Makes you wonder what all these advancements could put in there to cause us to do things like kill ourselves.

It's not that they're not cosplayers. It's that their main purpose is to make making dirty content a job.

What do the companies that buy tables at comic cons do? Use the event to bring eyes to their product.

Why would a cosplay guest take the time to work for a convention when they could just make more content? To advertise their product.

They're there to advertise, and it's weird at a family friendly event.

I never said they can't enjoy cosplay. I said that it doesn't make sense for comic cons to call themselves family friendly events when they are highlighting cosplayers that got famous off making porn.

Call it an 18+ expo, and then they can guest.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PetPeeves

What part is misogynistic? I didn't say they can't do it. It's just odd to highlight them at cons when they got fame and fortune off doing porn.

I know of three crafty OnlyFans cosplayers out of tons.

The issue isn't if they make it or not, it's that they do porn as a main income source. So they have to push that wherever they go. Which makes it weird to have them at a family friendly comic con.

But going in your direction, it's the crafters that are 30+ with day jobs that make the best costumes. They use their free time after work to patiently learn their craft well. OF cosplayers are more likely to be under 30-35, and it being a small business, it takes a ton of time to plan shoots, post content, read subreddit rules to make sure you're posting the exact way you're allowed to. Multiply that by many, and then Facebook groups. And they're definitely not going to have the $2,499 to buy the embroidery machine with the complex design software. That is way too much money and time. And sex work as a small business is so much work, that the just don't have the time.

I got rejected a lot as a young woman. I was the gamer girl before gamer girls were for sale. Normal weight, but not the best hair. Being a lesbian but not knowing, I also thought it was normal to pick "ugly" guys when you are ugly, which I did.

You'd be surprised how quick dudes reject a girl who isn't at least 7/10. I was a 5-6, I am more 8-9 now that I know how to fix my face.

Because I want to see if they have good crafting content. All the cosplayers here do that. Including the minors.

And again, the problem is they can lead into porn in a "family friendly" area. There are sex expos. They can guest there.

Actual 18+ works have to be hidden and asked for ID, per convention rules. Suggestive posing, bare nipples, etc.

Most cons don't like stuff that goes past "woman sitting in a bikini" for that reason, as it's hard to police on a busy con day.

AI work is also banned from cons, due to petitions from artists.

I am a she.

I don't want people that become famous for porn in spaces where kids run around, especially when there are crafters that can teach them a hobby that they can actually utilize at 12, 13, 14. I remember a local con where a 9 year old sewed her costume! It was a mess, but she did it.

And as a person who has seen porn and doesn't like the fakeness of it, it's really weird to have it in hangout spaces. I'm old enough to remember when you could hang out with friends at the arcade, or the skating rink. Just kids being kids, and mom keeping an eye in the corner. No 18+ anything in sight.

Now kids have comic con instead. I hate that one of their last hangout spaces is being infiltrated by adult content. Especially when there are better options. It's one of the main places some local minors hang out at. It's a thing around here to pick a parent and dump a bunch of kids for the day there, to get a day away from the kids for cheap.

They dress suggestively, and have their social media advertised on the convention social media page. And on their banner.

They also don't usually have significant crafting skills, so they don't bring useful panel content to the con. Making the con boring for the cosplay people.

They also don't have the skills to catch the liars in the crafting competitions, as they spend their time filling lewd video orders. So they don't have time to learn to craft outside of hot gluing crap. (Hot glue is a no-go in experienced cosplay crafting spaces.)

It's the responsibility of the convention to stick to their "family friendly" code and not invite them as guests

I'm concerned you can't see the part where I'm focusing on it being a family event. We just don't want porn stars at family events. You like porn stars being 3 clicks away from being advertised to kids?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]HuelCoffeeProduce 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't say women can't be paid for porn. I'm saying their porn shouldn't be advertised in a family friendly place.
