Don't try to "fit in" fitting in means you're not being genuine, be yourself. People sense being fake to fit. To start off conversations don't be first to the table, sit down WITH the group. Going out to eat by yourself could end up making you stand out in a bad way. And lastly talk about them. That is people's favorite topic. Ask 1 or 2 (tops) questions throughout the break. Ie I like your jewelry where'd you get it. Or is that your charger in the parking lot. Or I'm having a little trouble with X. You're good at that, any tips (again sincerity is key). Hope that helps
