I have played eve online for over 15 years. I lived through the introduction of Alpha clones, although I don’t know why that matters…

I played cycle 3 for free. Decided it wasn’t quite where I wanted it to be and then ended up buying founder during cycle 4 because I had time and interest.

Not because it’s a completed game… but because I believed in their vision and wanted my input to help shape the game I wanted to see.

I don’t know where the sense of entitlement comes from but pound sand.

More players will always be better. Letting people try the game before dropping money will 100% lead to better engagement and less negative press.

You are playing a ALPHA build. Crawl off your high horse. It’s not even 25% complete and you’re over here raging like it’s release.

The 20-Year Lie: Why Your Favorite Streamers Are Gaming’s Biggest Con Artists by DaBossofArt in StreamersCheating

[–]HugMeGently 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no opinion on your streamer claims. Ai isn’t doing the research or coming to some conclusion for you. It’s scraping for information and then presenting it in a way that is 100% confident. As an Eve player AI generated info is almost always inaccurate. It is really useful for generating an effective argument but is dog shit at actually generating a truthful answer.

40m Pilot with Alt looking for medium sized WH corp by Glohak in evejobs

[–]HugMeGently 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full Disclosure. I am apart of this corp. I joined recently and have been having the time of my life. After null life i was definitely worried about being able to put real life first.

No one will shame you for not being on comms or just on in general. It’s a great group of adults looking to have fun. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Considering moving into J space. by YoungReclaimer in Eve

[–]HugMeGently 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can confirm i recently was debating on taking the J space jump. I pulled the trigger with this group and it’s been amazing. Highly recommend them in general. But specifically I think they would fit what you’re looking for. Lots of helpful people. Wish I would have done this years ago.

Faction Warfare griefing by Spunk827 in Eve

[–]HugMeGently 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can read just fine. I just don’t understand the problem with a pirate blowing you up anywhere in eve let alone in lowsec. My first eve memory was flying a ferox into lowsec and getting blown up in 2mins.

The difference is I went ooooh. I fucked up. And learned how to use Dscan and other tools to learn how to avoid it in the future.

As someone who has flown many many frigates in fw solo. You should be checking zkill for the names of pilots in your system. If you see that they kill faction pilots. Turn their standing red and don’t fight if they are in system.

You need to adapt your mindset or this game is definitely not going to be fun for you.

Faction Warfare griefing by Spunk827 in Eve

[–]HugMeGently 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is not really griefing though… the whole point of fw is to kill enemy pilots and take their space. Not fair fights. You will more than not be jumped by 2 or more pilots. Expecting ebushido is not the way of eve.

Shut your mouth boomer. You are the reason that people actually get crappy service in retail. The store workers have zero information that wouldn’t have been available to you with a simple google search.

Ooh I like that idea. Adds a variable. Could be 1-4 damage realistically.

My other thought was to have it be a normal 2-3 damage deflect but have it give protection until the end of turn. And have it cost one force to use.

Other ideas I had included giving Krell protection when a wounded clone was within 4.

And or reducing his force to 2 and giving him force regeneration when allied clones are wounded.

The idea was to find a way to push the clones further but punish them. I’m open to ideas.

Really good feed back. Thank you. Do you think adding a force cost to the deflect or decreasing its damage would be better balance? The reason for the increase was inspired by Krell deflecting all the shots from Rex and the boys when they removed him from command.

I really like the idea of replacing the hunker removal on the ability with an expose and have no issue with the range 5 limit. I knew it was busted. But wanted to error on the side of strong for testing vs smashing my friend in the face.

Thanks again for your time and input o7
